Thank you @nvidia for the hookup on this DGX Workstation. This will crunch a *lot* of high quality tokens here! This thing is a total beast.

@gilgNYC @Shopify Can you show just a few description lines by default in the new Collection page? Maybe add a "read more" action.

Today is the final day of hack days @Shopify and I have unlimited Fable 5 credits 🙃 What’s a small thing on Shopify that annoys you? I’ll fire off some subagents to investigate and potentially fix.

@gilgNYC @Shopify Can you allow transactional emails to access metaobjects or shop metafields? I like to define some settings that staff can use to change some stuffs without touching the notifications code

@KatieKeithBarn2 Same happened to me when I started working with my first Shopify client. PDP and PLP were acronyms I didnt know. Now I use them regularly and categories for me are collections even on WooCommerce now

Last week a customer got frustrated with one of my support engineers for not knowing what a PDP is. In 10 years of selling WooCommerce plugins, I hadn’t heard the term either and had to Google it. And then today at the Shopify conference I heard it multiple times! Maybe it’s more of a Shopify term, while Woo people use “single product page” or “product page” 🤷‍♀️

Some updates on the creator rev share program: 1. Soliciting engagements (“I’ll follow everyone who replies”) 3 or more times will results in removal from the program and your account will be forwarded to the policy team for suspension. Grok now catches all of these. Nearly 4000 accounts were removed from the program today. 2. Our new model now detects duplicated content at 3x the rate of the previous model. Adding watermarks, intros and other edits will send monetized impressions to the original uploader. This also includes copying viral text posts (most common one: “Twitter is like the smoking section of the internet”). We detected 1.5 million posts that were stolen this cycle. Repeated or intentional circumvention will lead to removal from the program. With these changes, over $1 million will be given back to original content creators.

@williamsba They should block plugin names which aren't real names. This is taken from a blog post I'm currently working on.

Sounds like WordPress.org has a new rule on plugin naming: "The display name and slug use the “-Press” construction as a reference to the WordPress trademark, which is not allowed in plugin names." reddit.com/r/Wordpress/co…

BREAKING: Lucid $LCID crashes 49% after report says the company is considering bankruptcy. The Saudi-backed EV maker brought in restructuring adviser AlixPartners, which has been asked to report to the board before its next meeting. The options on the table include taking the company private or filing for Chapter 11. Trading was halted for volatility. The stock hit a 52-week low of $4.44, down 79.81% over the past year, cutting its market cap to $1.92 billion. The warning signs were already there. Lucid laid off 1,500 workers last month, about 18% of staff, after cutting 12% four months earlier. It killed the second production shift at its Arizona plant. Over a dozen executives have left in two years, including the founder. Its gross margin sits at -95.6%, meaning it loses more on each car than it makes selling it. It drew $800 million from a Saudi backed loan facility just last week. AlixPartners is reportedly telling the board to pause European expansion and focus everything on the Gravity SUV, which has had quality problems since production began. No decision has been made yet.

The next logical play for Anthropic is to include Fable in subs indefinitely and remove that 50% limit restriction.
