VIDEO | Delhi: Senior advocate Aman Lekhi, on AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal’s letter to Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma, says, “A judge has many options and the discretion to decide whether to take cognisance of this as contempt or not. But, if good sense prevails, as I believe it will, she may choose to disregard the letter, inappropriate as it is, because this is not the proper way to raise legal grievances. As I have repeatedly said, there is a due legal process to address grievances, and all mechanisms are in place. The system is functional. It was open to him to follow those steps and seek a remedy under the law, which he has chosen not to do. I find this action difficult to comprehend on every count, whether political or legal. In my opinion, it is not only distasteful and inappropriate, but also unlikely to yield any favourable outcome for him on any parameter.” (Full video available on PTI Videos - ptivideos.com)

Down to 12.4 million followers on Instagram after joining BJP, Raghav Chaddha has put out a "From the heart" video. "Ek aadami galat ho sakte hain, do aadami galat ho sakte hain, lekin saat aadami galat nahin ho sakte," says Chaddha!

In all humility and with complete respect for judiciary, I have written the following letter to Justice Swarna Kanta Sharma, informing her that pursuing Gandhian principles of Satyagraha, it won’t be possible for me to pursue this case in her court, either in person or through a counsel. I have taken this difficult decision after coming to the clear conclusion that the proceedings being conducted in her court do not, in any manner, satisfy the fundamental principle that ‘justice must not only be done but must also be seen to be done’. My participation in these proceedings, either myself or through a counsel will not achieve anything meaningful.
