stop pitching brands. you don't have to do this. every creator i know who's making real money got their last 3 deals from inbound, not outbound. what they did instead: 1. one piece of content that ranks (not goes viral, ranks) 2. one tool on their domain that captures email 3. one DM template they can paste in 4 seconds when a brand replies three assets. that's the whole system. no cold pitching. no rejection inbox.

the line that doubled my creator friend's quote: "that scope works. for clarity, my standard is $X for [exact deliverable], $Y for [scope+]. happy to go either direction." three things working: · "that scope works" = no flinch on their ask · two prices not one = anchor + escape hatch · "either direction" = control without confrontation she sent the email. brand picked the higher tier. screenshot it. send it to your most underpriced creator friend.

the one DM line that has gotten me 2/10 brand replies on day one for 18 months: "saw your last campaign with [creator x]. specific note: the second cut at 0:14. that's the move. would you be open to a similar treatment for [your product]?" three things working: · proof you watched · timestamp = couldn't fake · "be open" not "interested" — costs them nothing to say yes steal it. it works.

The dangerous part of AI pitching is when it writes from “UGC best practices” instead of the actual deal context. A good pitch should pull from: creator proof, brand positioning, current campaigns, buyer objections, usage goal, and one testable concept. Without that, it is just a polite cold DM

Elon Musk
Elon Musk@elonmusk·
Scam Altman and Greg Stockman stole a charity. Full stop. Greg got tens of billions of stock for himself and Scam got dozens of OpenAI side deals with a piece of the action for himself, Y Combinator style. After this lawsuit, Scam will also be awarded tens of billions in stock directly. The fundamental question is simply this: Do you want to set legal precedent in the United States that it is ok to loot a charity? If so, you undermine all charitable giving in the United States forever. I could have started OpenAI as a for-profit corporation. Instead, I started it, funded it, recruited critical talent and taught them everything I know about how to make a startup successful FOR THE PUBLIC GOOD. Then they stole the charity.
X Freeze@XFreeze

Interesting how it works Elon puts up his own money, rounds up the absolute best AI talent on the planet, leverages every connection he has to secure serious resources, and launches OpenAI in 2015 as a pure non-profit explicitly created to develop AI for the benefit of humanity, with zero profit motive and open research Then the “team” decides they want the bag They push Elon out, take control, and quietly flip the entire thing into a for-profit machine All while preaching the same sanctimonious lines on repeat: “We’re still mission-driven!” “AI for the good of humanity!” “We’d never abandon our principles!” The ultimate betrayal: Elon got zero equity. Not a single share. He funded it. He built the foundation. He got nothing while they turned his non-profit into their personal cash cow This is the level of betrayal and hypocrisy we’re dealing with And for the record.... this lawsuit doesn’t put a single penny in Elon’s pocket. Any win goes straight back to the non-profit to restore the exact mission he founded

The most underrated act of kindness is simply letting people be. Let them mispronounce a word, talk too much about a show they love, or get excited about something you don't quite understand. Everyone has something that lights them up, let them shine, even if it's not your thing.

The thing nobody tells you about using AI at this level is that it changes your relationship with ambition. Before today I had the idea to teach AI to creators. After today I have the strategy, the scripts, the assets, the plan, and the command center to execute it.

post-launch thought: the reason the founding cohort filled fast is not because of the product. it is because creators have been burned by AI courses that are actually just prompt packs. closing is a skill. AI is a tool. the system is the integration. that is what people paid for.

a creator bought my kit on march 30. same week she pitched me. used my own scripts. priced me at $800. handled my pushback with my own objection handler. i paid her. today i am releasing the AI version that runs the whole system. drop CLOSER OS for the link.

creator sent 40 pitches in march. 2 replies. 0 deals. switched to pitching 5 brands per week using product-specific angles. april: 5 pitches per week x 4 weeks = 20 total. 7 replies. 3 discovery calls. 2 paid deals at $600 and $900. fewer pitches, better targeting, higher close rate.

brand agrees to $500 for 1 video. later asks if you can "also do a photo pack and some stories." four words: "happy to, additional $X." polite. firm. profitable. brand either pays more or backs off. you win either way. every UGC creator should memorize this.
