@Dr_KSGautham Agree with this! Especially in the NICU, for taller providers. Cribs don't adjust in height, isolettes can. Bending over and stressing your lumbar spine is also harder as you age. I have also found that it gives you a moment to get composed, and definitely have a better view.

Many years ago a senior colleague of mine told me that in his experience, when intubating a baby, if the intubator sits down on a stool, instead of standing, it increases the likelihood of success (one feels less stressed and pressured, view of glottis is better).
