1/ The Chair of the UK Covid Inquiry, Baroness Hallett has made a statement on her findings and recommendations.

@BenK_Data @EbonyJHilton_MD Covid is no different from any other respiratory virus. Clearly encountering a novel virus late in life is dangerous. But younger adults and in particular kids were well equipped to deal with this eventuality. Why can’t people understand this?

Dads: a simple reframe that has helped me actually want to play with my kids more: There is going to be a last time that they ever ask me to play together, I won't know when that will be, and that I'll desperately wish for it again once it's past. Life is brief. Truly savor it.

I've written about my thoughts, tangentially to the inquiry, on covid post-mortems. About confident maths, lack of confidence, and whether we should experiment on kids (we should). If I ever write about covid again, assume it's a hostage situation. thetimes.com/article/3c7c89…

Here's a special digest version of the latest Struggle Session with Dr. Johnathan Howard (@19joho) where we dispel some prevalent myths about COVID with regards to herd immunity, vaccinations, COVID's long term effects, and the Great Barrington Declaration. Please check it out!
