@justv11098 The “things people want” like NG+, third person mode, multiplayer, and another PL sized expansion are way beyond the scope of these patches they’ve been doing. Game is 5 years old they’re not going to rework the entire thing.

@CabooseEK It’s just salt about the MC not being male. People would still call it more of the same if it was Jin they’re just acting like this is just so much worse because it’s a female protagonist voiced by a progressive actress.

I don’t understand this sentiment. Jin’s story is effectively done. He’s become the Ghost and defied his Uncle, then explores his past/his father’s past in the DLC. I’m ready to learn about Atsu.

The biggest upgrade that nobody is talking about in Ghost of Yotei has been done to exploration: Ubisoft-style checklist open world is completely GONE. They have FINALLY removed the question marks from the map and now inspired by Elden Ring and Red Dead Redemption 2's exploration, nothing is marked. YOU have to explore, find clues and listen to locals to find opportunities and locations rather than follow a boring checklist, stuff gets marked only after Atsu discovers a clue about it or surveys it from a distance with her spyglass, a massive upgrade to immersion.

@amil I’ve worked in rec centers forever and more and more see that kids can’t process the word “no” and cry at the drop of a hat even when told “no” nicely. Oftentimes parents will kind of rush over to comfort them and have that , “ah shit I forgot they can be told no” look.
