This was the first sentence I heard a few years ago on a 🇬🇧 government advisory board aimed at reviewing predatory practices by universities' tech transfer offices. {@UniofOxford and @Cambridge_Uni at the time were taxing scientist founders 50% and 33% equity vs 0-5% equity in 🇺🇸. FYI our founders in Europe concede 2.5% equity on average, check @wilbe_science platform for instructions} The board was made of university-affiliated stakeholders resulting in a scarce outcome (many universities are still in the double-digit % mindset through ill advice and lobbying by TenU). But I am sharing all this as it was MJ's very "noise" to contribute to the summoning of a review board in the first place. Similarly here on @X many may have experienced how he channels his 🇺🇸 drive to push 🇪🇺 institutions to do better: in my eyes he is the biggest cheerleader for a European resurgence and of course a Venture Partner for us.
