I wouldn’t worry too too much yet on big men recruiting. While Josh O won’t start for us he is a very quality player. Eliminates a lot of the risk AND allows us to be picky. If you go and find a solid 5 man and rotate him with Josh O that’s all this team really needs

@dgrimm_23 I’ve been saying the same about Wright, but I don’t think either is the ideal fit to be honest. What we need is a PG with length and athleticism to pair with Mobley that can guard multiple positions on D and attack and facilitate on offense.

If it came down to Wright or Haralson I lean Haralson by a lot. Wright plays no defense and doesn’t compliment Mobley at all. We can’t have an even smaller backcourt next year. Mobley Haralson (6’7”) AT (6’8”) Bynum (6’8”) Josh O (6’10”)

@Dubsco 15 by far more egregious. They had oodles of elite top end NFL talent and depth. 25 had elite NFL talent, but not to the same level as 15. Also the overall depth was lacking in 25. Further we were super young.

The draft has me wondering how other Ohio State fans will ultimately view the 2025 team as the years go by compared to how they view the 2015 team now

@dgrimm_23 I think he’d play a two tbh. I agree it’s not the perfect guy but we’d have a huge lineup and a big guard to hide Juni on D

1/ Am I the only one who doesn’t understand targeting Haralson from ND? Kid is elite don’t get me wrong, but he isn’t a positional need. IMO we should spend our money on a legit PG. Also bringing in Haralson means either him or AT won’t start…

@dgrimm_23 we need size+defense+playmaking with juni bc he can play the 2 on offense but he cannot guard a good 2. anything else we get along with that player is just a benefit. this would be perfect

@cseem20 From what I’ve read we will have around $12 million for this years roster. A lot of that goes to Juni, Bynum, and AT so not sure what we have to spend in the portal
