Here's what to do. Contact the offices of Taco Bueno. Get THEM to open a franchise. Taco Bueno is better in every way than Taco Bell - as in every single offering at Taco Bueno is better than the same offering at Taco Bell. And it's no more expensive. I don't think they use better ingredients or anything. It's a mystery to me.

@dh1228 @SandyofCthulhu It's easy when you make them up! A sloppy joe is basically a variation on bolognese which every European would have seen, it's one of the most common dishes in the world, it's just on pasta not a sandwich.

Years ago I was going to a small convention (maybe 100 people) in Germany, and my friend (the organizer) asked me to cook one American meal for the whole group. So my wife and I pondered for a while. What could we cook that would 1) be American 2) be easy to make for a group 3) have ingredients available in Germany and 4) be unusual enough that most of the European attendees will never have seen it. Sloppy Joes came to mind. Everyone ate them as kids. And they're fairly rare in restaurants, so it's unlikely that visiting Europeans have eaten them. So we cooked up a big batch of sloppy joe mix at the hostel, and got some excellent German buns. Then as the guests came through the line, we spooned up the sloppy joes and WOW it was a hit. The Germans and French raved over it. "This is such an amazing dish." "So interesting and subtle." Three different guys told us to save some for their girlfriends who were on an outing and needed to try this incredible treat. I told them we were served these in our elementary school lunches and when our moms were too tired for something complicated, but I don't think we were believed, because it was clearly a sophisticated meal. An English guy told us that "Sloppy Joe" was a brand of clothing in Britain, and asked if the food was named after the brand. The hostel owner also made a small pan of vegetarian sloppy joe slop for those who needed it. I asked him if the vegetarian version would taste good, and he said, "I have no idea. I would never eat that." Hurra fur Deutschland! I did not add pickles or cheese etc. to my sloppy joes. I did cook bell peppers into the meat though because at my house that's required. Also don't buy Manwich. That's gross.

@Robinium1 @SandyofCthulhu The sloppy joe is infused with tomato sauce, so probably different, but I would eat that Gehacktesstippe and not think twice about it.

1. Most of the people who rent these tables are doing it for yard sales. Second most common reason is for birthday parties. 2. We've only had one customer return the tables later than expected. She rented several for a bachelorette party, and ended up losing her thumb riding a mechanical bull. Gnarly. She kept in contact with us during the 2 or 3 weeks it took for her to bring them back. Her friend eventually returned them. We didn't charge her extra and were much more worried about her than the tables. 3. 90% of people pick it up from our porch and drop if off. Occasionally we'll do drop off and pick up. We'll usually charge $10 extra for that. We've never had tables stolen by customers or off our porch. We had some returned when we were out of town and when we returned two weeks later, they were still there. 4. The rentals are overwhelmingly for the weekend. What this means is that a lot of people hold onto them for a week. We don't need them back Monday morning, so if they drop them off on Wednesday, that's great. 5. There's no paperwork, this is a low-stakes, high-trust arrangement. 6. Most people rent multiple. More people rent 4 than 1. If you only need one table, than you'll buy one or make do without it. I also wouldn't want to do this for $15/interaction. When the average ticket if $40-60, that makes it more worthwhile. 6. We wipe the tables off but we've never had one returned dirty. Some come back dusty from the yard sales but that's it. 7. There's better ways to make money. I run my own company, so I understand the basics of business. However, I still think this is one of the easiest. You could scale with chairs and set-up and take-down or adding other options, but I'm not interested in that. The money pays for date night and we've met great people which is nice. That's all we want to get out of it. If you like learning about business, follow me as I'll continue to share the highs and lows and journey of building my asphalt company.

This is the easiest side-hustle ever. Pick up a couple of these from Costco, post on Facebook marketplace and rent out for $15/each. We rent them almost every week from now through the end of summer. They’re on sale at Costco and we just picked up a couple more. You won’t get rich with 8 tables, but it’s about as passive as income will ever be.

Can’t cook? Then pay attention. You can easily cook chicken Preheat oven to 375. Add enough @GreatGheeCo or animal fat to cover the bottom of a cast iron, stainless steel or carbon steel frying pan. Turn heat on to 75% of max. Season chicken with a little salt, garlic and onion powder. Paprika if you like. Cook skin side down for about 10 minutes or until a nice crust develops. Cook skin side up for 5 minutes. Put the entire skillet in the hot oven for 10-15 minutes. Internal temp should be 165° minimum. This meal cost me $11 and this was air cooled, quality chicken. Thanks @BellandEvans

Here’s Norma’s breakfast chicken fried steak. It’s not as big as the schnitzel shown but is it really about size? I’ve eaten a huge oversized schnitzel in Frankfurt and it was terrific but I was certainly able to comprehend it. I’m grateful to my friend Fabian for taking me there.

The American mind can't comprehend a giant battered and fried piece of meat? I bet there's a place with a chicken fried steak bigger than that. We are quite capable of our own heart disease-inducing cuisine.
