Every time l read about the billions being made by private companies from the NHS it reminds me of this: a £1,500 bill for a job that could have been done for about £90. This is still happening. The NHS still has £55+ billion left to pay on £13 billion PFI loans from 1997.

Two interesting things to note.
Free at the point of ‘need’ not at the point of ‘use’ - why change that? What are you gonna charge for?
Secondly, you can increase privatisation and still be free to use, just not forever. Labour and the Tories both do it and it breaks the NHS. Reform would continue this.

@Steve21688916 Carillion? 1 ward 70 hand-wash refills = £1500. Cost of materials £70+45mins labour. X that by every ward, every hosp, all maintenance, all overcosted private contracts, inc clinical and the NHS are being fleeced. Plus £150m bill to taxpayer for collapse. Capita will be next.
