@brodders_be @tony_calvin As Hugh Taylor has mentioned in his column this morning those going stick readings at York can be misleading (shock!), similar discrepancies between far side and stands’ side occurred last season but they were rarely born out in results, no way would I be cashing out of bets

I have to say, this doesn’t read well for those drawn low. Obviously, got plenty of value with Russet Gold but I’ve also backed Strike Red this morning ew @ 18/1. Won the Leicester race that Russet Gold ran in last time and only gets a 3lb penalty to take him to a mark of 89. He

@LTFC_Dave @kevlennon1 I wouldn’t be against selling him but I think I would be holding out for a bit more than just £1.7 million, for a player they think is undervalued and could be good enough to play at the highest level, Leeds recruitment has been brilliant in recent years

@LTFC_Dave What seems very odd is that Leeds must rate him from his Norwegian data and video clips etc, so why didn’t they make a move for him before, can’t believe they are trying to sign him based off what he has achieved for us to date

Not sure how I feel about this. Has done next to nothing since arriving but Premier League interest suggests there's a player there If we got our money back and some further benefits, I definitely think we should take it

Rochdale very much 2nd best in the game today and played like they have been in recent weeks ie not great but somehow managing to pick up a result. Obviously over the season they do deserve promotion, but I really do feel for Luke Gerrard and Boreham Wood, because they were so good today and he prepared them to perfection.

@sjdhatters Yeah a mate of mine has been on it about the same time, think the only ticket he couldn’t get during the prem season was either Liverpool or Man U at home, hopefully they get the pricing right with cheap season tickets at Power Court

@sjdhatters Did you go up the list as much as that? Had we not had such a decent end to the season then I dare say would have been plenty of people not renewing, I was lucky as got mine during Covid when loads of people cancelled!

@MISTERPDW @LTFC_Dave Given that we may not see Lawrence again (I think he has a good chance of getting a Championship loan). It will be interesting to see if that is the end of Bramall, we are going to be very light in that area, just as we are at right back too

@dickiedosh @LTFC_Dave Naismith broke his wrist, so credit to him for playing on. Guess Lawrence would have slotted back to left back. Bramall hasn't featured for ages, presume he is off, he isn't JW's man. Shame he's done little wrong. Johnson has been unlucky not to feature more.

For all the talk about signing up Palmer and Clark, if we are serious about going up next season, we NEED to get the defence sorted. Jones isn't a right back no matter how much he or anyone insists. And with likely departures we probably need 2, if not 3 centre backs #LTFC

@MISTERPDW @LTFC_Dave It was mad that neither Bramall or Johnson were on the bench at Bolton, there was a point in the second half when it looked like Naismith would have to come off and we would have had to shuffle players all over the place or change formation, it was a lucky escape

@dickiedosh @LTFC_Dave Good shout, he didn't kick on. The amount of pace that Bolton have down the flanksis mad for a L1 team. We are getting that too with Jones, Lawrence, Morris and the lesser spotted Kodua and Bramall.

@MISTERPDW @LTFC_Dave I know he looked very good against us but I think overall that loan spell at Blackburn went a bit sour for him, which is why they were willing to let him drop in class and find some confidence again

@LTFC_Dave @MISTERPDW Yeah I think it’s fair to say that’s the toughest set of wide players you will come up against in this league and why most teams would go there with a low block, Thierry Gale who came off the bench would be starting for most teams in the division too

@dickiedosh @MISTERPDW Whilst I don't rate Jones (or Lawrence) for their defensive skills, it's worth pointing out that Cozier-Duberry is a very very good player at this level. I think he was at Blackburn the year before last and caused us problems in the Championship so I was surprised he dropped down

@LTFC_Dave @MISTERPDW Agree with your post about the defence being key Dave, as yesterday showed the way Wilshere wants us to play you are going to have to be not only comfortable on the ball but be very good at defending 1 v 1, Bolton were brilliant all game at very quickly getting the ball out wide

@dickiedosh @LTFC_Dave Luton are a very momentum club and we have built a good head of stream. Obviously it depends who comes in and goes, I think we can give it a good go next season. Wilshere has learnt well and quickly, after a difficult few months, when he looked out of his depth at times.

@MISTERPDW @LTFC_Dave That’s a fair point about those two, both ought to be in the mix but will be a huge summer of transition, but the cancelling of a points deduction and takeover will mean a massive feel good factor for Sheff Weds, Leicester fans will be more like us and demanding a top two finish
