Here's the thing about ululation that most people don't understand. It's LOUD. Like an entire regiment of highland bagpipers loud. Loud and PIERCING. No one who hasn't heard it before can ignore it.
I was in the Sinai when I woken up by a bunch of bedouin women doing it, and will never forget it. I've been 30 ft from a lightning strike and five feet from a train air horn and it didn't affect me like that.
Everybody should give Sabrina a break.
