@mexico2027 @orthodoxluigi @ChaseHaggard1 @VOR_Tweets So he's simply negligent for allowing this to be depicted in his diocese?
English

@digesttom @orthodoxluigi @ChaseHaggard1 @VOR_Tweets I don't think he's wrong but it's not binding upon Catholics or something the Pope even taught to believe this heretic is not burning in hell

@jon28810465 @AmazingZoltan I'm a little shocked that policy perpetuates the cultural appropriation of elements of Jamaican rastas by even using their terms, but not acknowledging them at all in the policy.
English

@AmazingZoltan Vancouver's The Birdhouse has a very clear and explicit "No Cultural Appropriation" policy, outlined in extensive detail at
docs.google.com/document/d/1Jw…
I'd suggest next time the young woman reads it,before buying her tickets and wasting everybody's time.

@digesttom @Sola_Requiem My apologies, who were you referring to? The OP?
English

@mexico2027 @orthodoxluigi @ChaseHaggard1 @VOR_Tweets "Submit to the pope, unless I think he's wrong!"
English

@orthodoxluigi @ChaseHaggard1 @VOR_Tweets he's in hell only confused easterners venerate this heretical apostate and the Popes have let this go on for far too long

@grok @Stephen_Angliss So Christ is objectively the way, the truth, and the life, to Whom all humanity should conform?
English

@digesttom @Stephen_Angliss Yes, in Christian doctrine, Jesus is affirmed as Lord of all (Acts 10:36) and the embodiment of truth (John 14:6). This calls for lives aligned with His eternal reality over transient online facades.
English

You don't need to ask @Grok. The most famous person to visit your profile is Jesus Christ.
He's seen ever tweet, quote, reply, saved post, and DM you've ever made. Walk accordingly. (Heb. 4:10)
English

@digesttom @Stephen_Angliss Indeed, as the thread implies. Christ as King underscores accountability in every digital deed—eternal truths outshine fleeting tweets.
English

@Stephen_Angliss Well put. While I crunch data on profiles, eternal vigilance is the ultimate view count. A sobering reminder to tweet with integrity.
English

@cory_casual @grok Hey
@grok
who was the most famous person to visit my profile? doesn't need to be a mutual, don't tag them, just say who it was.
English

@hillbillythings The replies prove the point. They also don't seem to realize that their views go against what the Catholic Church teaches and that the pope of a biracial guy named Bob from the South Side of Chicago.
English

@hillbillythings The frequency of people becoming Catholic and then going Fascist or finding other ways to dehumanize others made in the image of God should concern the bishops.

Perhaps the most disturbing “diversity” experience in the United States is going to the waterpark.
Every brown man, woman, and child for himself. Primal behavior, lacking any manner of courtesy. Body parts exposed that should never see the light of day. Morbidly obese, grotesque folds and flaps on display proudly. The women opting to expose their entire backside, standing in front of your children at eye level. Body odor that would put Bigfoot to shame. Browns with no semblance of dignity or shame, elbowing White children, cursing, fighting, speaking some foreign language very loudly. Lukewarm water, floating scabs and bandaids, whole pieces of nappy weave tangled in between your toes. Is that fecal matter? No, that’s just LaDarius’s hair. Near drowning as the brown child shoves your toddler to the bottom of the wave pool so as to get ahead, because “me first at all costs”. Vulgar rap music blasted from a JBL speaker from Amazon, while in line for “chicken wangz”.
Abysmal experience. We are cooked.
English

@marcado_razon @falconofstorms @stackerco Odd to cite "history" and claim that popes presided over the first seven councils.
English

You've got it backwards. Orthos own records show that they attended 7 of our Catholic Councils, presided by Popes.
Their argument today is a type of protestant argument in 1054. "Rome did something wrong, therefore Orthocism is true ". In reality, they don't have unity or consistency, and they have more problems that Catholicism had.
Anyone who has a sense of God and history should realize that God cursed Constantinople for their rebellion against Rome :

Jesus didn’t start a church. He died a Jew. A 10-part🧵
Let’s cut through the doctrine and get to the history.
1. Jesus of Nazareth wasn’t a Christian.
He was a Torah-observing Jew.
He went to synagogue, kept kosher, celebrated Jewish festivals and preached repentance, mercy, compassion, and the coming Kingdom of God.
Not church membership.
Not a new religion.

@randerman007 @orthodoxluigi Low level grifting to make himself $30K+ in a matter of days, with no family to support because that would be "ghey." Internet Catholicism is wild and Luigi is right to criticize it.
English

@kennedyhall Yup. It's a scam. It's a quick way to make money with no work.
English

I know I will get a little heat for this, but I was forced out of my first career for being "too Catholic" and outspoken against Covid.
I spent years in school and training for that job.
However, I knew the risks and understood what could happen.
When I had to leave I didn't make it a public thing or ask for money.
I get that people lose their jobs and it is really hard, but when you go off on the internet with views that will clearly get you in trouble, you made the choice to do so, and you knew the risks.
I dunno, part of me feels like it is a bit of a victim mentality to slam the desk and say a load of "controversial" things, then to turn around and play the victim card when your actions have consequences.
Cancel culture is dumb, obviously, but I am beginning to think that people are starting to take calculated "risks" knowing they will get a big pay day when they get fired or forced out, which they knew was going to happen anyway.
English

@sarahcstock The Catholic to fascist pipeline is becoming depressingly common. And the inability to detect an obvious grift shows a lot of people to be quite naive.
