ABSOLUTE INCOMPETENCE Following an IT issue @AlaskaAir did a ground stop but didn't list flights as delayed. Everyone came to the airport assuming their flight was ontime They just canceled tonight's flights and sent everyone in the airport to one customer service desk

@chamath Twitter should add a rule to all these hashtags that are about social causes. If a person did not "do" something practical about the cause, they should not be allowed to tweet about the cause. They all want to yap yap and yap... and go on with their everyday lives.

Important issues deserve nuanced discussions. Some clarifying comments:

@chamath They all missed the point. If @chamath make it such a controversy this would not have hit top headlines on CNBC. In a way, he sabotaged his "perceived" social image to bring attention to Uyghurs. Chamath is genius and he cares - there's only a handful of them.
