@ByRobDavies Good plan. But on previous experience, I’m betting several would be going up the course the wrong way without a paddle.

@timbocop Danger there is you’re in risk of repeating/directly mapping programme or generic institutional LOs onto courses/units. Could get messy

@timbocop In all seriousness it would depend on credit value (if that’s a thing that’s not consistent) but 3-4 for a 15 credit unit. If it was four or more you might expect one or two of those might be more generic critical or soft skill vs specific LOs related to course content.

Educators: how many learning outcomes do you mostly have in your courses ("units" for people in Australia)?

After 22 years of training brilliant young journalists at three great teaching centres, I’m taking a break from teaching. Today is my last day at City, University of London. I’m taking a break before consultancy work. Thanks to my great students and colleagues. Onwards!

This is hours of cheap entertainment for kids down the tubes. A quid used to keep my two occupied for hours.

Often forgotten in the discussion around #universities: they are now providing essential services to students (which would fall away if unis disappeared): mental health support and counselling, employment, career advice etc. Some student unions even have to run food banks.
