App Icon Reveal! The idea behind the @goclub_app icon was simple: make it instantly understandable. The shoe immediately communicates movement, walking, steps, fitness, and activity without needing any explanation. We wanted something that feels energetic, bold, and recognisable even at a tiny app icon size. A lot of thought went into balancing clarity with personality. The flying laces, motion, shape, and overall silhouette were all carefully crafted to make the icon feel alive and dynamic. Also, huge appreciation to @floyidism for crafting this entirely in Figma. No prompts. Just pure design craft, attention to detail, and countless iterations. Over the course of my career, I’ve probably worked with more than 100 designers, but Sarath is genuinely special. His ability to translate ideas into something this clean, expressive, and polished is rare.

Quiet evolution of my app icon over the last couple of months. Subtle, but moving in a good direction imo.

Codex is not like claude code. if you know the limit is going to end, like last 10 to 8%, give an very long run task, and even after the limit got ever, it will continue to do the task until the task was completed. Shout out to @OpenAI team.

Just had a small “whoa” moment. I’m on an exercise bike at the gym, nowhere near my Mac. From my phone I gave #Codex a task, I watched it write the code and open a PR against my repo, ready for me to review later. Software development is wonderfully weird nowadays.

Still incredible that the DeepMind documentary has footage of exact moment Demis is told that AlphaFold can “easily” predict all known (1-2B) protein sequences “in a month” and he says to do it. Then, it shows the moment AlphaFold is released to the world.
