@Mike10495054385 @sarobertsonca Excuse us while we shut the power off to parts of the 22 states that take imported electricity from Canada. About 2% of all US electricity comes from Canada. Since it’s cheap and the US doesn’t need it, we’ll take that back, thank-you.

POILIEVRE: "It is true that Canada has a trade surplus with the United States of America for one reason. Because we sell the United States an enormous quantity of underpriced natural resources which you then feed into your industry and turn around at massive profits to your people."

@yegwave So they own the land and water but not the air? What makes the air different? Seems the federal government arbitrary decides what it want to give away based off of nothing.

🇨🇦 An Indigenous group in northern B.C. has asserted Aboriginal title over the airspace above Crown land near Burns Lake, demanding written consent before any aircraft, including government forestry helicopters, could fly over the territory. The dispute escalated to involve both levels of government before Ottawa issued a formal written response. Transport Canada replied in a 12-page letter addressed to four B.C. cabinet ministers, stating that Canada holds exclusive jurisdiction over aeronautics and that no person, group, or level of government has the legal authority to restrict Canadian airspace or impose consent requirements on aircraft operators.

No, I want the government to give a chance to people who could work but choose not to, simply because they don’t feel like it, by offering them paid training in a specific field to help them enter the job market with a stable job. If they refuse, they can still get a job in any field of their choosing—it’s just that their benefits would be cut to save taxpayers’ money and encourage them to finally become part of a functioning society.

@digitalmelvyn @CrazyMadNoob @thefadingmaple @CitImmCanada Just because you have a population of unemployed people does not mean that those people can be used for specific jobs that are open unless you’re saying we need to force people to work in industries they don’t want to be in simply because there are job openings.

There are nearly 2 million unemployed people in Canada, which is more than enough to address our labour shortage (not even considering that 38% of them are foreigners). And if we look closely at the EU's experience with immigration, particularly from Africa and Muslim-majority countries, it has had a negative impact on taxpayers rather than a positive one.

Average construction worker salary in English Canada 10 years ago was $32/hour, now it’s around $25/hour. Canadians won’t work in industries where mass immigration has reduced wages by $2 an hour each year for a decade. Now, the only solution is to bring in even more foreign workers willing to work for peanuts just to be in our country.

@BRICSinfo Before we jump to conclusions, we need facts. Who fired? Why? Is this terrorism, crime, or something else entirely? Reuters reporting 'shots fired' doesn't tell the full story. Speculation feeds panic. Wait for verified details before connecting dots that might not exist.

400,000 immigrants were admitted to Canada in 2025. The number has been halved, but it remains high regardless. The claim that GDP growth requires immigration is false. The USA has seen its population decrease, yet its GDP has increased thanks to more domestic manufacturing. Japan does not follow this approach. Its main GDP resources come from services.

@digitalmelvyn @Rockntroll4life @zerohedge Immigration has been halved Read the gdp report and the government lists it as a reason. You can't grow an economy with a negative population growth. Basic physics Even Japan, where they work 60 hour weeks, have stagnated cause of this

Your point was that immigration was making our GDP go up, but in reality it was simply moving sideways Now, the GDP is going down despite still having high immigration The issue isn’t low birth rates, the issue is that our productivity is at an all-time low and resource extraction is nonexistent

@Chucky9192 @rebeltransam @CanadianPolling Canadian federal pollsters usually don’t go above 2,000 people, yet we use them to get an idea of the general population. Have you ever complained about that or just when it doesn’t fit your libtard brain ?
