@privaz3tte its better to just let him shoot (and score, but possibly miss it) yk, defenders are dumb, choose to get sent off instead themselves

Rion Ichihara (20/🇯🇵) — AZ (CB) Having played for RB Omiya Ardija in the J2L and laddering through Japanese youth sides, Ichihara moved to AZ this winter. The CB has played 5 matches for the club’s U21s so far and has already impressed, both defensively and with 2 assists (despite an unlucky own goal). He’s also been included in AZ’s senior squad a few times, though he’s still waiting for his debut with the first team. But that should be sooner rather than later! 🕰️ A centre-back comfortable as LCB and RCB. Naturally right-footed but his left is almost just as good. Very much a modern CB, composed in build-up while still having the core defensive traits. 1.88m with a lean build, but when he jumps he absolutely towers over opponents. Excellent aerially: 73% aerial win rate in the J2L, 100% at the U20 WC and around 50% so far in the KKD. Strong on the ground too. Good body usage, solid shoulder-to-shoulder. In possession Ichihara likes responsibility. Progressive passer, comfortable demanding the ball and coaching teammates during build-up. When he debuted for AZ’s U21s he was immediately organising the defensive line, both on and off the ball. Defensively he’s fairly aggressive, reads the game well, anticipates danger early and defends 1v1s with good body positioning and constant focus on the ball. Decent pace and athleticism as well. As a bonus, he can take a decent penalty too.🥅 His willingness to always build up and demand the ball can sometimes lead to mistakes. Decision making here and there can improve. Experience will help with that. Sometimes he should simply clear the ball to relieve pressure. In easier games or when leading he can get a bit nonchalant too, not always fully committing to blocks or clearances, though this has been improving. And despite his aerial strength, there’s still room for improvement attacking the ball in the opposition box. All minor things tbf. His base profile is very complete, and with development he has the tools to grow into a really strong centre-back. 🧠

Franz-Ethan Meichtry (20/🇨🇭) — FC Thun (AM/CM/RM) Came through the FC Thun academy, and in his first senior season last year he quickly became a starter in the Swiss second division. This season he’s taken another step, being a key part of Thun’s unbelievable run in the Swiss Super League. In 19 starts, Meichtry’s got 8G3A, but it’s really his complete and unique profile that makes him stand out. 🦄 He can play pretty much anywhere in advanced zones, 8, 10, wide mid, inside winger. At 1.85m, he combines strength with a high work rate and a great engine. Always moving, on and off the ball, accelerates well, presses aggressively, and covers large spaces. Technically he’s sharp: good dribbler, good creativity, quick changes of direction, effective body feints, comfortable in 1v1s, carries progressively, likes to shoot but also creates in the final third. He’s a good box-crasher, his ability to make himself “invisible” and then suddenly show up is class. He’s s tidy player, in his style it’s noticeable prefers short vertical combinations and line-breaking passes over diagonals, and is just consistent overall, rarely makes mistakes. ✨ Some areas to improve however;. sometimes he’s too eager to shoot, resulting in poorly timed or blocked attempts. Not dominant in the air, decent in shoulder-to-shoulder duels but heading timing and accuracy is a bit meh. Against better opponents, he can end up a bit isolated; while he stretches the pitch well, asking for the ball more can help. Despite scoring in key games against Sion and St. Gallen, his overall involvement there could’ve been better. ⤴️

Had quite a few people asking me if I will be playing F1 fantasy. I absolutely love the sport of F1, and as a result, I don't play the fantasy game. Want to enjoy it without having fantasy biases and worries. Also will try to remember to #F1 for every F1 tweet, if you want to mute the hashtag and not see any of my F1 tweets!

Adam Brennan (18/🇮🇪) — Shamrock Rovers (LW/LWB) After 39 appearances (17 starts, 10G/1A) for University College Dublin in the Irish First Division and representing Ireland at youth level, 18-year-old Adem Brennan secured a winter move to Shamrock Rovers. He didn’t disappoint on his debut, as the young Irishman immediately impressed with 1G1A vs St Pat’s. 🥅 As a dynamic and versatile player down the left flank, Brennan can slot in as a LWB in a back 5, a traditional LM in a 4-4-2, or as an LW in a 4-3-3. In front of goal, he’s fairly efficient, posting a 25% conversion rate last season. He’s a direct, expressive winger but couples that flair with good work rate. Technically sharp with tidy close control, quick feet and rapid pace, he’s unpredictable in the final third, capable of both cutting inside hugging the touchline. For someone of his age with as little pro level experience, he shows good composure in advanced areas and isn’t afraid to take responsibility in decisive moments. He thrives in quick combinations, can link play in tight pockets, and is comfortable finishing or distributing with either foot. Also an ok asset aerially. Always looking to play on the front foot, balance and agility help him despite not being physically too dominant. He covers plenty of ground, tracks back, and has a solid tackle in him, but his biggest impact still comes higher up the pitch rather than defensively though. ⚽️ His decision-making can improve, sometimes dribbles into mad traffic or delays releases too long. His stamina still needs building a tad, cramped up celebrating his first goal for Rovers. While as said his left foot is comfortable , he doesn’t utilise it enough, particularly when sprinting he just keeps it on his right. Defensively his 1v1 awareness and reaction speed can improve, and at times he can be a bit too nice in duels.

Saka is one of the most remarkable problem solvers of the past decade in football Turns every problem into a nail and succeeds everytime with a hammer blow. Creative and problem solvers go hand in hand. You can't compare. They're both needed and effective in their own way.
