Encouraging people to directly engage in forest fire control in mountainous areas is both reckless and extremely inhumane. We remember how so many army personnel were killed in Ramechhap and Dolpa fire incidents. Why do we need to engage in each and every forest fire like this?

Guthis were endemic to Nepal. But do you think NGOs are non-profit? No, they were never truly non-profit. In reality, most of the NGOs are profit-driven entities operating under the guise of non-profits. Everyone knows how they make profit and who ultimately benefits from it.

Entrepreneurship would be a decent escape option only. If they are real non-profits (and not BONGOs PONGOs etc) then they should resort to voluntary service and activism. Genuine guthis, not "business or politics by other means" funded clerical outfits pushing funders' agendas.
