Charles Barkley: "I'll be honest with you- I don't think it's going to be a close game. I think Illinois is going to beat [UConn] pretty good." 🏀🎙️#MarchMadness #FinalFour

The UConn Huskies might not be the BEST team entering this year’s Final Four, but they are the most DANGEROUS. Why? Despite winning 2 of the last 3 national championships. Despite having a coaching staff and multiple players who have won those titles. Despite being the premier program in college basketball right now, they enter today as UNDERDOGS. Underdogs against Illinois. The worst odds of all four teams to cut down the nets in Indianapolis. Here’s the scary thing for everyone else in Indy: the Huskies love playing this role. They love being counted out. They thrive with a chip on their shoulder. That’s the program Jim Calhoun built, and the one Dan Hurley has turned back into a juggernaut. And that’s exactly how this team enters this Final Four - the underdogs. Despite a shot at all-time history, 3 titles in a 4 year span, UConn is playing with house money. Let’s see what happens.

I can’t believe this just happened

An Optimist's Rebellion (1.1.26) I rebel. I rebel against what the world has to say. About me. About you. About everything. I rebel against the chaos culture. The one that says we must fit in, follow the common path. The one that preys on our worst fears. And tells us things are only getting worse. I rebel. I rebel against the voices that tear us apart. The forces that always find someone to blame. And never anyone to praise. I rebel against the politics of anxiety. The politics of division. I rebel against the technology that pulls me deeper into its suffocating web. The lights and noise that fill my head and heart. So that I no longer see myself - or the world I was made for. I rebel. I will begin to see that world again. To find it where it's hidden. I will hear music. See beauty. Think deeply. I will embrace silence, solitude, simplicity. I will begin to see purpose and hope in the midst of pain. I will believe that - against all odds - things are going to get better. I will work toward that future. I will pass that future on to my daughters. I will teach it to my son. I will bring others with me. I rebel against the darkness. I will live in the light. I rebel.
