We need to start demanding a General Election at the end of this Tory leadership election. They were all elected on a manifesto promise to level up the North and are all abandoning it.

In her capacity on both these rolls she secured a contract to supply EV infrastructure and supply energy to Greater Manchester Combined Authority, the famous “Bus” project the now ex mayor of Manchester keeps banging on about. One thing that he possibly fails to shout about is the this woman that got this contract is in fact Andy Burnham’s wife

@TiceRichard This was Angela Rayner’s position in 2022. No mandate. No public vote. General Election needed. Fair enough. So does that principle still apply now, or was it only valid when it helped Labour?

No I suspect not Labour voters are not the natural target audience of Restore You would expect to see Labour signs coming down to be replaced by Reform signage If the Reform plan to move to the centre & disavow the right was working that is The hard question for Reform is of course why did they fail to do that in Gorton & again fail to do it in Makerfield? Perhaps that plan is not a good one? Reform went backwards 16 points in Makerfield between May 8th & June 18th Reform badly need to understand why
