The Reed Devil questline is one of the best in Crimson Desert so far! There's also a lot more you can find if you look around after the fight. I hope there's more like this! 🙏

Lot of news happening today! I am on my final stretch of radiation so I am super sick. Going to try and post as I can, but expect this week to be light until I am done Friday. I elected to do it everyday this week than to drag out into another week. Knew it was going to be a little rough this week!

@CrimsonDesert_ Can you please fix fishing for consoles? For wireless controllers it doesn’t work unless you connect to usb-c cable. Please allow us to fish without needing to be connected to the cable. I’m suspecting this is a bug of some sort.

Just unlocked the first other character in Crimson Desert Do people find themselves just using Kliff more or using the other characters a good amount as well?

@WillJPowers Please for the love of God let us gather water from wells. Theres a whole animation for using the well, but you get no water from it. It is such a no brainer, and water is a big bottleneck for cooking.

Just started using Damiane on Saturday. I went on a few travels with her solo and then brought Kliff with me yesterday. I like her a lot. She comes with the same level of passives for Spirit, Health and Stamina as Kliff when you get her, and I put in a single artifact for her to parry; but I’ve left her skill tree alone for the most part.

@dgray1987 @DestinLegarie I’m loving the game it’s pretty amazing with so much to do and highly interactive. You can virtually go into every house and take stuff w/ a mask, dispatch missions, building camp, bounties, and quests galore. It has the scale of an MMO for a single player experience. Incredible!

@DestinLegarie Yeah, the first few hours felt a little disjointed for me but now I can't stop playing and having a blast!

Hot take. Crimson Desert gets good after about 3 hours. I just think the early onboarding needs some work. Once I was past a few clunky quests (imo) I was hooked.

@PaulTassi @bigfanofLFC The game is amazing!! Loving everything from mining, hunting, fishing - I could spend multiple alone not in combat, just exploring, and taking in the world!! It’s all about doing what you want to do!

@WillJPowers Hey Will! Loving the game! The biggest piece of feedback I would love to share to the team is: rowboats. Not enough of them. We have this gigantic world with only a very scattered around. Is it possible for the team to make them more ubiquitous and available around the map?

@porter_thomas23 @BonafideXP @CrimsonDesert_ Don’t care what the community manager said. The story is solid 7/10. Not everything has to be an 8,9, etc. it does the job. I wasn’t looking for award winning writing. It’s fine. Everything else is highly immersive and very fun.

@BonafideXP @dimitrib21 @CrimsonDesert_ Even the community manager said this, he literally tried to get ahead of it and said not to expect much storytelling and it’s purely a sandbox game. His whole job was to butter up the game so if he’s even saying not to expect anything then it’s clearly not there

I might be the only one playing Crimson Desert who’s fine with the story and its’ cutscenes. I’m in this world to learn and understand the motivations that make the world move. Even though we control Kliff, him and the Greymanes’ storyline is nothing more than a vehicle to explore the real main character of the game, Pywel; and the various secrets it holds.

@BonafideXP @porter_thomas23 @CrimsonDesert_ It’s funny b/c I don’t know if you listen to the game podcast Kinda Funny but Greg Miller (ex-IGN guy) called it the epitome of mediocre. SMH. I just came across a group of bandits that had a man contained in a wooden box, broke him out, loss his horse, and escorted him home!

Crimson Desert Patch 1.0.3 is out now: Patch Highlights: • Added a storage chest to the camp • Added more Fast Travel points • Reduced health and damage of certain bosses • Increased healing from food • Trees can now be cut down with standard attacks and take less damage • The Visione now equips itself automatically after reading a memory • The horse will now approach the player after being called • Increased responsiveness of the jump • Increased responsiveness of the UI and menus • Reduced difficulty of the Arm Wrestling and Archery minigame • Improved KBM controls • Controller improvements are planned for a future update
