@SeanFraserMP @JustinTrudeau @CitImmCanada @CanadainIndia Please clear SOWP files from September 2021 ( Sep 8-14, 2021) that are being processed by Canadian Visa Office in Bangalore. Most files are in review for more than 95 days and files will exceed processing time this week.

With over 1.8 million applications and 157k protected persons & refugee cases in backlog, and Labour Shortages plaguing our Economy, the Liberals has no plan to fix this. This is why I wrote to the Minister of Immigration, to urge him to develop a plan & #ClearTheLiberalBacklogs

The long term impact this is having on migrant mental health, relationship stability, finances, and especially the wellness of children caught in the middle cannot be understated. We cannot turn a blind eye to this issue. @CitImmCanada @SeanFraserMP

A common and emerging theme in #cdnimm is the separation of families within the context of temporary resident applications. Approving the PA for a study permit + refusing dependents, stalling spouses from obtaining Open Work Permits, refusing TRVs for spouses = all very harmful.

Immigration backlogs are at 1.8 million! These aren't just numbers, these are families that remain separated, businesses unable to fill labour shortages and refugees stranded in places like Afghanistan. I raised this issue once again. #StrongerTogether #yyCFL

My MSc student wrote an excellent review of a paper! Proud of him I gave him the 1st paper, he read and wrote a review I sent him my own review of the same paper & asked him to compare We did that for 2 papers His 3rd attempt reviewing a paper was nothing short of professional
