@willjohnsonbf1 @dingerthefrog Yeah they make all the off people who call him out. 95% of replies are people saying how bad foreplay is and how bad Riggs is. He literally gets paid for being a troll

@GayBearRes My parents did the same thing but are in good health still at least. Very annoying to get the guilt trip on visiting more, how the in-laws see the grandkids more, and moving down there. Sorry you left us and your grandkids, not the other way around

My Boomer parents retired to Florida about 10 years ago. Sure enough my parents’ health is declining. Instead of moving back to the house they never sold, their solution is that I uproot my wife and kids and move to Florida. Why are they like this? 1/2

Boomers and Gen X packed lunches. Not sure why this stuff enrages zoomers. Boomers lived frugally. Going out to lunch was a big deal. Most didn't have long lunch breaks, especially blue collar. You didn't DoorDash, dinners were made at home. I don't even DoorDash in 2026.

Just a friendly warning. We don’t even make $200k per year in Congress despite working nearly 140 days. If we aren’t properly compensated, a lot of us will go to the private sector and you will be left with some real idiots in Congress.

The Zoomers getting nostalgic about Troy (2004) is interesting in that at the time it came out, the general critical consensus was that it was well-produced mediocre schlock, where the best-of-a-generation cast was shown unable to hold their own next to an aged Peter O'Toole

@memeticsisyphus For even my normie friends the transgender issue is pushing them right. This is spot on. We are not idiots, trans women are obviously not women. Insisting they are leads to logical thoughts like what else are these people completely insane on? Turns out a lot

I think the trans community was really harmed by people like this. I think most people in the west are happy to accommodate weirdness. Accept the asterisk that goes with being a transwoman and move on. But instead there was a large push by people like this that insisted there was no asterisk. That transitioning was actually possible. This led them to absurdities like the female penis. Simply saying yes trans women aren’t the same as women could resolve it, but the ideology stops them. It leads them to the absurd. It also torches the public’s confidence in your ability to handle anything, seeing how you bend to ideology even when it makes you look ridiculous. Why would we let you change anything in society?

Approaching 40. It was a few years ago that I started to realize: 1. the only thing that actually matters is raising my kids And 2. the only interests and hobbies I have now is drinking coffee, listening to podcasts, watching the stock market and shitposting on this app

This my first time ever seeing something like this: Not just a patch, but a studio straight up removing the core mechanic of their game because it's so unpopular. Civ 7 is essentially a new game now. It's like an overhaul mod made by the developers themselves.

Our smartest people are still scary smart but they aren’t professors or in politics. They work in finance or software. A smart private equity guy is SMART. Before fiat went crazy, they’d be in chemical engineering. Jane Street quants would be working on the manhattan project.
Roman Helmet Guy@romanhelmetguy

For the past century or so, our smart people have been getting dumber. This has been masked by the fact that the average person was getting smarter. But now the average person is getting dumber.

I constantly hear "The best players at 12 don't become the best players at 18" but I don't often see evidence of that. Been coaching in south central TX since 2009. I can tell you most of the best local high school seniors were amongst the best players at 12 w/few exceptions-

A friend paid for his daughter’s wedding, $60k. Modest by his standards (NW $10m+). The wedding invite was going to indicate that it would hosted by he and his ex-wife. Daughter wanted to include fiancé’s parents as hosts on the invite. Friend pushed back and now he’s on the verge of being disinvited. Who is the a-hole here? I say the daughter is being an entitled bride-zilla.
