Yesterday we ran our first 10k at the @torontomarathon and I’m still thinking about it. It was one of those things where you don’t really know what you’re capable of until you’re in it. Running it with my partner made it even more real. There were moments where it stopped being physical and turned into “okay, can I actually push through this or not?” Today we’re sore, moving slow, and definitely feeling it. But honestly, that’s the best part because it means we actually challenged ourselves instead of staying comfortable. Doing hard things has a way of showing you where you’re at. And once you see that, you can’t really unsee it. #ugc #ugccreator #ugccommunity

Inbounds have been picking up lately, which I’m really grateful for. But I’ve also been a lot more selective about what I say yes to... Recently had a big brand reach out with a strong offer. They were flexible on rates and had everything you’d want on paper. But the product just didn’t align with me or the kind of content I want to be known for, so I passed. Not every good deal is a good fit and the more intentional you get with what you accept, the more your brand actually feels like yours 🫶 #ugc #ugccreator #ugccommunity

Pretty sure there are like 10 different versions of me running around online at this point 😅… all because of a “clone format” I kept coming back to... It started as one video that worked for a client, so I iterated on the same hook and structure and just kept getting better at executing it each time. At some point, brands started reaching out asking me to recreate that exact format. That’s when it clicked for me that repetition doesn’t make you boring, it’s how you actually get good at something. #ugc #ugccreator #ugccommunity

Happy Friday! Starting today off with finally getting a CRAZY collab locked in. Thought I’d have to be begging in inboxes for this, but I got an inbound for a MATTRESS collab. I'm telling y'all "Tweet and Toast” is the new "Netflix and Chill" Recently, I've been writing tweets every morning while I eat breakfast and it quietly fixed my consistency problem. I kept treating my tweets like something I had to “find time for” later in the day. It either got pushed or overthought. So I paired it with something I already do every single day. Now it's a low lift task built into a routine I actually enjoy. No pressure to be perfect, just showing up and getting the reps in. Something very important I've learned as a UGC creator👇 The goal isn't to land the brand once. It's to become the creator they don't want to replace... Because here's what repeat clients actually mean: → you're not constantly pitching to fill your calendar → your income gets more predictable → briefs get easier because you already know their voice → feedback rounds shrink because you nailed it the first time It's the difference between hustling for the next gig and building an actual business. Would you trust AI to run your life?🤯 I just gave Claude full access to mine…😳 Today was day one, and I actually took the time to set it up properly. I first used this to structure the prompt so it’s not vague since better prompts = better responses: claude.ai/public/artifac… Then opened a project on Claude, gave it full context on my current life, and where I’m trying to go, how I like to work, what I struggle with… everything. The biggest thing already is it removes the friction of figuring out what to do next. I can focus on the higher level stuff, and Claude handles the structure of my day. The best part about posting content isn’t what I thought it would be... Going into it, I was focused on the usual stuff. Views, growth, making better content, all of that. I didn’t really think about what would come from just consistently putting myself out there. But the part that’s stuck with me the most has been the people 👥 I’ve met creators on the same path, built real friendships, and even ended up finding my co-founder for a basketball league through all of this. That’s something I never would’ve expected when I first started posting. It kind of shifted how I look at all of it. The numbers are cool, but the relationships have been way more valuable than anything I could track. Spending more time on your content doesn’t mean it’ll perform better. I had to learn that the hard way. I used to overthink everything, more takes, more edits, trying to make every video look “perfect.” But all of this slowed my whole process down and didn’t even translate into better results. The content that actually converted was usually simpler, just clearer. The ones with strong ideas, clear hooks, and intentional execution. Now I think way more before I film, and way less while I’m editing. This is the shift that sped everything up and made my content work harder. I’m grabbing my marathon bib and coworking today at my old uni with my creator friend @diondoescontent … and it really made me think. Switching visual formats changed more than the look of my content, it changed how the message was received 📥 Yesterday, I tested a green screen explainer talking through networking advice that nobody really mentions. This was a topic I've made videos of before, but this time I delivered it more like a real-time realization instead of a polished script. That shift did two things. It made the content feel more honest, and it gave the viewer something to follow visually while I was breaking the idea down. Engagement started picking up, and it clicked for me why. Most people focus on what to say, but the format is what controls how long someone stays, how they process it, and whether it actually sticks.
