@mediateller @CityNewsVAN We were at the top. Gondola was broken down for hours. The last we heard, they were on the phone with manufactures in Sweden. Lots of people started down the BCMC with kids, sandals, etc. we counted 5 injuries on our way down and EMS coming up as we made it back to the car.

Warning to those considering a visit to @grousemountain this weekend. The gondola line down hasn't moved in an hour and the queue is virtually at the bears. Nobody knows what is happening and there has been no communication.

@Sonu_Seven @grousemountain Us too. We passed so many kids and people wearing sandals and clogs. I get wanting to get down but we were so concerned for them! Saw EMS coming up as well.

@diosadentro @grousemountain I saw alot of seniors going down the bcmc that had no business being there. Saw three sets of firefighters climbing up. Had three slips myself as I wore running sneakers not anticipating going down.

Anyone still stuck at the top of @grousemountain we waited for 2 hours and finally hiked down. Hope everyone made it down safely!
