@DirectLine So I had an accident in March was emailed to say my no claims will not be affected renewal came at £300 ..then I got an email from renewals to say it was going up to £644..paid it the operator said that the difference will be refunded once the claim was updated.wont refund

@DirectLine Readers who use Direct Line in their early 60s might want to move insurers now rather than wait to be told as they approach their 65th Birthday they are no longer insurable by DL. Disgusting. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

@DirectLine I tried to update my new address (policy 5037683421). Can’t talk to no one at customer service. Had to spend 30 minutes chatting to a bot, and it still not record details correctly. I will never use DIRECTLINE as I cannot speak to a human being. #nocustomerservice

@DirectLine Storm last week fetched tiles off my roof and Direct Line Won't cover it saying it is a maintenance problem. Have been insured with them for over 20 year and never made a claim on my house insurance. They will say anything to weasel out of it.

My @DirectLine motor policy auto renewed. They ripped me off by increasing my premium 28% (no changes) to £732. I’m changing my car & now they want another £180. So, I obtained quotes as an existing customer & via @Comparethemkt - screenshots below. Loyal customer? I’m furious…

@DirectLine I just had a very frustrating 1.25hr conversation with a chat agent who would not answer my question - why would you refuse to quote for my adding temp driver based on only provisional licence & age, when I have added the same but younger before?

@DirectLine my vulnerable parents have been left with no running water and no central heating for over 48 hours now ! Because of an escape of water through the ceiling ! Been informed today trace & access cannot attend until Friday that would be 5 days ! Seriously concerning !
