With proper hype, even AI films can reach cinemas, but it will definitely be a minority. There are already many great movies that can’t get in. Theaters have a lot of different problems but lack of content is not one of them. That’s why I believe AI films will change the film landscape, but not necessarily for cinemas :)

You’re not wrong. Screen access is scarce and incumbents dominate, even for creators with an audience. My point was less “they’ll take anything” and more “theatrical needs new reliable events.” AI work probably lands online first, then reaches cinemas via festivals and event screenings if it proves demand.

Hear me out. Theaters are losing ground to streaming, consolidation, and shrinking windows. At the same time AI filmmaking is accelerating whether the industry approves or not. If a flood of AI-enabled films means even 0.001% is compelling enough to pull people back into cinemas, that’s not the apocalypse. That’s potential demand.

No, it's actually the exact opposite. There are so many movies and so much competition for spots in cinemas that only the biggest players have access. You can look at the recent case of Iron Lung from Markiplier. He had an interesting movie and a huge audience, yet it was incredibly difficult for him to secure a spot in cinemas, and his release was initially very limited.

@dirmeller Because theaters as an institution is currently dying for content. They have no idea what to play and their window is going to reduce even more. This is an economical reason

We need to stop clickbait titles like “End of Hollywood.” They are so inaccurate that it's hard to read them, even knowing they are just clickbait. Hollywood would be the biggest beneficiary of AI. All these big studios will be the main producers of AI films. Of course, AI will allow even small studios or single creators to make amazing films. However, most of the money will go to Hollywood, which will outproduce any small creators and have established distribution and marketing (which are usually more important than the quality of the film). Also, I don't believe they are not cooking silently in the background. They just can't admit it because it would make people angry. These companies spend 300–500 million on single films. They will hire the most talented people and will have exclusive models for internal use only. It's only a matter of time.

I tested Seedance 2 and in my video there is clearly Bob Odenkirk, even though I never asked for him (and my prompt wasn’t directed that way). The same thing seems to happen sometimes with 3D animated characters that appear to be taken directly from popular series, not only in this model, but in others as well. You need to be very careful if you want to use these tools professionally and commercially. It was easy for me to notice because I know who Bob Odenkirk is. However, it’s not hard to imagine working on a project where one of the actors in your scene resembles a notable actor you aren’t familiar with. This is a huge problem because you need to be constantly thinking about it.

I thought the Super Bowl would be a good time to test new Kling 3, so I spent this afternoon creating a quick commercial, which was fun (the idea was kind of based on a meme with Jason Momoa without his beard). @Kling_ai new model is really awesome! @Doritos please don't sue me 😅

@CoachDanGo I've been eating almost the same thing for a very long time. But instead of greek yogurt, I'm using cottage cheese (I tried it with yogurt, and cottage cheese is so much better), and I'm also adding some nuts and 100% dark chocolate, my favourite breakfast that I can eat nonstop.

I eat this breakfast every day. I call it Lean Body Glop and it looks like slop but it tastes delicious. Recipe: - 250g low fat Greek Yogurt - One scoop weigh protein powder - Teaspoon psyllium husk - 100g frozen fruit (strawberries, blueberries, mangoes work best) Around 300 calories, 40-50 protein, good amount of fiber. I start my day with this and it makes getting lean easy.

We just did something that’s never been done before: We made an ad for a major airline in 14 hours at 30,000 feet! Let me show you how we pulled off this insane video for Qatar Airways with the help of Google and Starlink. Full prompts & process below👇🧵

Last week, I had the pleasure of being one of the speakers at a panel discussion about filmmaking and storytelling with AI in Tokyo. I shared the stage with amazing people such as Oscar winner Tim Yip, great Korean director Lee Hwan-kyung, AI creators @lemon_0_0_ade and Cone, and our wonderful host @hq4ai. It was an incredible experience, full of great conversations and so many inspiring people I had the chance to meet. Thank you @Kling_ai for the invitation!

I've been playing with some aging workflows to test the viability of these tools for more traditional VFX tasks. Pretty decent results and I suspect someone with an actual Nuke / Davinci background could really make it work. Thoughts?

Thanks to the Kling Creative Contest, after months of testing different models and just experimenting, I finally had the motivation to create a proper short film. It’s called Lost & Found. Everything was done in 24 hours (except for the story, which I wrote some time ago). Created with some incredible tools: Video: @Kling_ai (Kling 2.5, Kling 2.1) Images: @GoogleAI Nano Banana, @BytedanceTalk Seedream 4.0, @midjourney Music: @SunoMusic Prompts: @OpenAI ChatGPT Voices: @elevenlabs Color grading: DaVinci Resolve If you like it, I would be grateful if you share it. #AI #KlingAI #NextGenCreativeContest #aifilmmaking #shortfilm #animation
