Raman and Huang are talking about expanding homeownership in pretty different ways. Raman wants to have "gentle density," and Huang wants Vienna style social housing, taking housing off the speculative market.

Big moment brewing in DSA LA as they currently have two members running for Mayor.
Will they support Nithya, a liberal Zionist who has repeatedly betrayed their adopted platform and actively harmed their relationships with Palestinian organizing in LA, or will they support Rae Huang, who's much more platform aligned (but also potentially much bigger lift to get to a W)?

A little scooplet: Some L.A. DSA members are pushing to reopen the group’s mayoral endorsement process — potentially putting a Nithya Raman or Rae Huang endorsement in play. There will be a vote at their 3/21 mtg to decide whether to reopen the process.
