@Israel Remember when you massacred 15 Palestinian paramedics at point blank range and tried to bury them AND their ambulances to hide your genocidal crime? We do. You treat animals better than Palestinians because denying Palestinian existence is how you affirm yourselves.

I can't get over the fact that Dune is about an oppressed people fighting for their homeland, waging a jihad to bring down a hegemonic empire by threatening to cut off the flow of their most precious commodity after the empire had assassinated their religious leader's father.

@RabbiPoupko Nobody has a problem with your grandparents living in their home in Palestine. The problem is you couldn't stand to live next to Palestinians with more Judaic DNA than you. Am Israel Chai? Only on the bodies and echoes of Palestinians before you.

@IDF "IDF does not target journalists". Unless the genocidal, Jewish-supremacists state wants them d3ad, apparently. And they seem to want lots and lots and lots of de@d journalists.

⭕️ The IDF has targeted Litani River crossings that Hezbollah used for both terrorist movement and to transfer thousands of weapons, including rockets and rocket launchers, intended to be used against IDF troops and Israeli civilians in terrorist attacks. Prior to the strikes, warnings were published to ensure that civilians distance themselves from the crossings, in order to reduce civilian harm. In footage released in the past few hours, a journalist is seen at the “Qasmiya” crossing. An explicit warning had been issued regarding this area. The crossing was struck after sufficient time had passed since warnings. The crossing was again targeted today at 12:30. The IDF calls on the residents of Lebanon to heed the warnings published on various platforms. The IDF does not target civilians or journalists and operates in accordance with international law.

@NoLore Canada failed to execute a ICC warrant for an Israeli war criminal who was transiting Canadian airspace but they did scramble a couple of fighter jets when they learned that a passenger on board had stolen some air miles points.

@ymenken @qunfuz2 @guychristensen_ You DID have self-determination after you immigrated to Palestine, same as everyone else there. The problem is you wanted MORE self-determination than everyone else, including those distant relatives of yours who remained in the holy land while your ancestors fled.

You believe this because you are a hateful individual who believes Jews, uniquely, do not deserve self determination in their indigenous land. Yet you delude yourself into believing you are a decent person. Adolf believed exactly the same things as you do. Jerusalem, Bethlehem, and Beer Sheba only mean something in Hebrew. The world's most published book mentions them more than once. You might try literacy, history, geography, archaeology, or anthropology over blind hatred.

Israel: We are going to strike these bridges that cross the Litani River. This is a warning so that civilians and journalists do not go to this area when it is going to be hit. RT's Steve Sweeney: I will go there anyway. The internet: Wow Israel tried to kill a journalist!

Totally inappropriate for any police force to visit Israel, a state in the midst of genocide, whose PM and Defence Minister are internationally wanted war criminals. That police chiefs are seeking counsel from a criminal, apartheid regime tells me we're not safe in Canada.
Edmonton Police@edmontonpolice

In mid-February, I joined police Chiefs from Canada and the United States, on a visit to Israel where we met police and community leaders in several cities. I spent time with police officers from Jewish, Christian, Muslim and Druze faiths representing a wide range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. I also met with Muslim community leaders who shared openly about their concerns and their reasons for working with police. These officers and community leaders operate in an environment that demands extraordinary vigilance - managing crime, counter terrorism, supporting community and crisis response all amid extreme complexity. Police to police we were able to talk about the toll this work takes on the people who do it. We talked about building trust in communities where there is little trust. We were able to get a glimpse of the undertaking required to police in complex environments. I am grateful for what I was able to learn and share with those we visited and among my North American peers. These missions offer a great deal of insight and valuable perspective. I am grateful for the continued leadership and support of the Edmonton Police Commission who have supported me in this. As police we focus on behavior, not beliefs. Where I have felt challenged this week is in the implication that any community group should have the right to direct where we can learn. I stand by my decision to take the trip to Israel and continue to view it as valuable, among multiple learning experiences I will have in this role. I remain focused on my longstanding and ongoing commitment to dialogue, learning and connection across communities and across boundaries.

@AGHamilton29 Clever wordplay to deny the ground truth: Israel only ever wants a "state-minus" for Palestine (if that), where Israel has defacto control, Palestinians get military law and grass mowings, and Israel remains accepted on the world stage. Your state is a threat to humanity.

Back to reality: A Muslim baby born in Israel will have the same rights as a Jewish baby born in Israel. A Jewish baby can’t be born in Palestinian controlled areas because there are no Jews who live there. In fact, it’s illegal to sell property to Jews in those areas. Definitely can’t vote in Palestinian elections. The actual inversion here is that Palestinian-controlled areas discriminate by religion, Israeli-controlled areas do not.
Aaron Regunberg@AaronRegunberg

Let’s talk reality. A Jewish baby born today in a West Bank community will have full rights in Israel, a vote in national elections, and access to civilian courts; a Palestinian baby born in that same community will have no democratic rights, tight restrictions on their movement, frequent harassment from settlers, and no access to justice beyond what Israel’s unaccountable military courts mete out. That’s apartheid.

I am a US citizen & Surgeon who took care of the Boston Maraton Bombing victims in 2013. I paid for 7 years to own a small apartment in downtown #Beirut for my 3 kids to enjoy summers there. Today, #Israel reduced my dream home to rubble, with american weapons, paid by my taxes.
