U.S. import prices shot up 1.9% in April, an annualized rate of 25%. Export prices spiked 3.3%, an annualized rate of 48%. YoY export prices rose 8.8%, the most since Sept. 2022. If you thought inflation was bad under Biden, wait until you experience what's coming under Trump.

For the first time, Canada overtook the U.S. as the most attractive destination for infrastructure investment among surveyed investors who manage about $1 trillion in investments. Capital is flowing back toward countries seen as politically stable, resource rich, energy secure, and strategically useful in a fractured world order. Canada suddenly matters again. giia.net/insights/pulse…

🌹🛢️⛔️🌊 : Mark Carney admits there is no new pipeline project announcement tomorrow when he meets with Alberta Premier Danielle Smith. Carney says Albert first has to meet numerous conditions, including expanding the carbon market. He then lists off several key conditions any pipeline approval will require. Carney has dumped huge amounts of red tape on pipelines, while promising to speed up every other project he wants, including data centers. Alberta Premier Danielle Smith either is being played for a fool, or she was aware of all of this, when she signed the MoU. Albertans are getting screwed so hard by this clown.

I have a beautiful family and we live a beautiful life. Escaping the Canadian slave plantation was the best thing we ever did. You people are pathetic losers who don't even value your own lives and happily let the government rob you of months of your lives every year. It's genuinely sad and pathetic

You are just an ignorant slave lmfao Canadians on average work 24 weeks of every year to pay taxes. A third of those taxes go to paying off interest on debts that were created by private banks from nothing through fractional reserves. You are slaved to imaginary debt the government takes out in your name for 8 weeks a year. You are a chump.

@myabradshaw78 lol what do you want carney to do about oil prices that have spiked because of Trump’s Iran war? You don’t want Alberta companies to sell oil at world prices anymore? A national energy program perhaps?

Prime Minister, we don't need another photo op, or a higher industrial carbon tax that makes Canada’s energy sector less competitive. Get moving and green-light a pipeline to the Pacific to get shovels in the ground by Christmas: conservative.ca/cpc/more-canad…

We have: - 4th largest oil reserves - 9th largest natural gas reserves (300 yrs supply at current prod) Replacing Asian coal w/ 🇨🇦 LNG could cut 🌎 emissions by 630M tonnes/yr (~137M cars off the road). Developing our LNG sector could generate $500B in investment & $90B in gov revenue by 2064. We can't afford to squander this moment.
