I see octopuses quite often when I go snorkeling, but usually >3m deep, v narrow bandwith of sunlight can reach, removing all color. The other day I saw one on a rock just few cm from surface, full spectrum of light. It flashed at me the most intense colors. Blew my mind 💜💙💛🧡

I argue for a drawing of the body that includes all beings... When I look at a tree, I see the web of life & death stretched out before me. I see the bright green stretch of chlorophyll reaching out to capture sunlight. I do not see the tree. Or perhaps I see all of it.
