I feel like it’s important for me to say that my choice to go from freelance to a company is a personal one. It was never a case of AI drying up leads or fear that AI will take over design. I thought a pivot into branding from product would heal me with my new studio System as it was something fresh, but after wrapping up a client I realised I’d simply grown tired of services in general. I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m happiest building products with a long-term vision. Whether it’s Visitors or Recent, I’m never thinking about how quickly I can wrap up the project. I’m always thinking about how I can make it better. That process never really ends, and the same applies when you put all your energy into one company. So if you’re freelancing and genuinely enjoying it, don’t take my decision as a signal that you should do the same. This is simply the right next step for me.

I just realized we passed the 1 year anniversary of Soham Parekh incident. Things have changed so much that possibly someone could do that many jobs outside of tech. He emailed me a little while ago.

If you need a Mac Mini for any reason, Apple currently has 4 refurbished Mac mini models available. These tend to come and go rather quickly, so if you want one, I'd jump on it in the next few minutes.

For Codex-based builders, this is a handy consolidated update on what’s new. I’m still getting my head around tightening my technique and even using /goal effectively so I appreciated this.

Been in SF for 72 hours and it still feels like the city of optimism, Manifest Destiny, God-promised-me-this energy. Everything here seems built and inhabited a bit too hastily by people who can't keep a secret about the vast riches being made. A gold rush era shantytown.

guy complained "Codex/Claude Code gets really laggy" not realizing he's experiencing regular old resource contention on a regular old computer? (yes, docker was involved)

@f0rr0 skill (free, 77k installs) — distilled rules in your agent's context — your model's judgment — results vary by model mcp — the full hosted engine, 194 rules — two-pass review, real 0–100 scores — same reviewer that runs on PRs — zero context tax, improves without reinstalls

Six months ago, I started building Rams as one of the first design skills (77k+ installs) for coding agents. Today, I’m launching the biggest update yet: Rams MCP. The full Rams engine now runs inside your agent: 194 design rules, 8 categories, real 0–100 scores, file:line findings, and fixes before commit.
