Today is #BellLetsTalk Day, and I want to share a blog post that I wrote last year about the glamorization of mental illness in the media. Today and everyday, let's educate ourselves and speak our truth to break the stigma that oppresses so many of us. diviyaliveshere.com/2019/01/30/men…

Happy #DayoftheGirl! Today and everyday, let’s stand up and speak out for the millions of girls around the world whose rights are violated. Let’s celebrate the progress we’ve made in the last decade but also recognize the injustices that girls and women are subjected to each day

Youth from our YGE initiative have just released the first ever #youth-led recommendation document of its kind for achieving SDG 5 in the world. Today, these young people make history & begin to rewrite the story of inequality. Will you join them? #cdnpoli bit.ly/2QAh4fK

Today we showed up and demanded change. Because we deserve to learn in an environment that allows each one of us to thrive. Because cuts to education that affect some of us, affect ALL of us. #StudentsSayNo

The theme of #IWD2019 is #BalanceforBetter and I think it's important to recognize that balance cannot be achieved without intersectionality. If we ignore the fact that women experience oppression differently based on their identities, we further perpetuate inequality.

Today, and everyday, here are a few things you can do to help yourself and those around you: 1. Educate yourself 2. Change your language 3. Understand that 'it's not a choice' 4. Check in on your 'strong' friends 5. Practice real self-care #BellLetsTalk (5/6)

Today's #BellLetsTalk day and I have a few thoughts: Recently the conversation surrounding mental health has grown dramatically. However, with this has also come an increase in insensitive jokes, self-diagnoses and the romanticization of mental illnesses in the media. (1/6)
