Replay is six years old today. @dizzyup and I have made stuff together for a decade, but it was in covid we thought we could get a little more serious about it (still not that serious). For six years now this little side project has been evenings and weekends and increasingly, vibe coding on trains and planes. Our first app, Umbra, sells more copies per week now more than ever. We've had hundreds of thousands of downloads and we have so much exciting stuff nearly ready to go on Echo. ty for being part of it. replay.software

@dizzyup Just a heads up, there's a random (I'm assuming) 1px line in the Tahoe wallpaper on both light and dark variants. Love the new wallpaper btw, great work as always!

Also recent, at the start of 2026 I updated the way my wallpaper collections are applied on macOS Tahoe. Adding wallpapers to the System Settings pane no longer works via scripting (😞), so I made a lightweight app and helper to apply them (🤓). Bit over-engineery, but fun.

@jasonbaroni Absolutely! From the screenshot it looks like you've used the order lookup page - follow the links in the emails you receive and the download pages will have a link to download the app.

@dizzyup Are older purchases eligible for downloading the app? If not, don’t worry about it. Thanks for working on such great projects!

@joelcipriano Tahoe only I'm afraid - made things a bit easier to build. The previous installer packages are still available and will work for Sequoia though.

In Umbra, we now support different wallpapers per display, added bookmarking to the built-in Unsplash browser, and also let you choose individual images from HEIC wallpapers — replay.software/umbra

Unreasonably excited about the latest beta of Pika (superhighfives.com/pika), my open-source colour picker for macOS. It now integrates with the system colour picker, meaning you can tweak colours, drop in hex codes, and generally have infinitely more granular control over your contrast. Everyone wins! You can try it out by subscribing to beta releases in Pika's settings, then hitting "Check for updates..."
