Described as sarcastic by my Sunday School teacher. 46 years later he still gets nervous when he sees me. Grandma of boys, certifiably normal.

@SusanJacks81856 @mitchellvii He wasn’t a billionaire back then. I believe in one of “his” books he mentioned liking to shop.
English

@mitchellvii In addition, billionaires don't shop, they send their assistants to high end stores to pick up items. Plus, billionaires have personal tailors that come to their homes.

Every week I’m getting a text from my husband daughter “Asking if she can come over” I get overstimulated when she ask. Because we already have a full house plus HER OLDER BROTHER LIVES with us. I feel like if she wanna see her dad that bad she’ll FaceTime him. It sucks being married to someone who has kids by another woman. This ish ain’t for the weak. How do you men/women do this 😩 😭

English

@luxemiaa You aren’t including this child in the celebration of her half-sister’s birthday? Was Facetime good enough for you when you were dating her dad? Why can’t a child spend physical time with her father? Why did you marry him if you can’t stand that he has other kids?
English

@Suzierizzo1 Y’all have seen his NYC apartment, right? Totally tacky is his trademark style.
English

Are you smart enough to be a lawyer?
Did you know the LSAT (law school admission test) is packed with logic problems not to test what you know, but how you think?
It’s designed to see if you can analyze arguments, spot flaws, and reason clearly under pressure, the exact skills lawyers use every day.

@Nickisbackbaby There was flu during COVID. I gave a Lyft to a woman who had just gotten tested for it. Showed me the results to assure me it was safe to give her a ride.
English

@beezy3300 @Crazymoments01 Wow. Just….wow.
Please don’t ever become a parent. Or an uncle. Or even date.
English

@Crazymoments01 I never feel sorry for the kids that run away and drown. Like you let a safe place to go die knowing you can’t fuckin swim. So that’s gunna happen eventually no matter what
English

@UnPC17 @Symply_rhoda1 I just don’t have bosses and coworkers who create drama in the workplace that needs exposed. So there is no tea for me to spill. Ok, someone on the overnight shift took the five pennies I’d stashed in the pencil cup, but I already told people about that.
English

@dja751 @Symply_rhoda1 OK you win! Everyone who quits a job should tell off their boss(es) in the most nasty way possible.
You are right. Word will never get around about them.
You are obviously from a very large city.
Stop arguing with me!
I have seen this play out in real life in smaller communities
English

@iky_fwjett Ah, the morning puzzle: do I block or stay for the chaos? Will the drama in this life distract me from the pain in mine? Is this delusion more fun than wondering what kind of food truck she pretends she had? Is this because I’m hungry and it’s raining again?

So the lady who cuts my hair had knee surgery awhile back and now she has to get additional surgery tomorrow to remove scar tissue.
She’s gonna be out for 3 weeks.
I have a bad hip, but I’ve read bad things about hip replacements as well.
Do these types of surgeries ever end well?
My hip bothers me 24-7, but I’m really hesitant about getting anything done.
English

@UnPC17 @Symply_rhoda1 She was already fired. They weren’t gonna give her a good reference anyhow.
English

@dja751 @Symply_rhoda1 Yes, in some occupations managers would fail to give her a good reference. They wouldn't have to "admit to their own indiscretions". I have seen them shun people from certain fields if they had a public tantrum upon quitting. Short term release can result in long term regret.
English

@UnPC17 @Symply_rhoda1 Would anyone at old job admit to their own indiscretions in order to hinder her hiring elsewhere?
English

@Symply_rhoda1 That may be satisfying for her in the short term, but in some fields--sis would never get another job!
English

@20AcreKing @Symply_rhoda1 You are assuming there is anything to leverage. Most of us don’t get the amusing concept of severance.
English

@Symply_rhoda1 Typical shot gun mentality - fire all your shots at once and leave yourself with no ammo.
Place one shot as an example and put it in mid ranks...this shows strategy. Then threaten to release more shots, more broadly to get what you want. (Reinstatement or large severance)
English

@sberrios5171 @RE_DailyMail They have to pretend to like him because he is vindictive about any slight or criticism and will slap on tariffs or cancel aid or contracts on a whim.
English

@RE_DailyMail I love how regular people and actors and actresses who like Trump and get along with him get ostracized by Hollywood, but if The Queen and King like Trump and get along with him, then they’re just fine, they get a pass.
English

A follower showed me something called "Ambrosia Salad" the other day.
…Is this real? Like, an actual thing people eat?
Marshmallows.
Whipped cream.
Canned fruit.
Coconut.
…all of that? In one bowl? What is even supposed to go in a salad anymore?
This is a salad??
I'm sorry, in what universe.

@druidique @Acyn The year was for the 47 part. Finding out what 86 means would have required more time.
English

It is mind numbing what lengths toadies will go to please the dumbest president the US has ever seen. Law enforcement has worked for a year on the meaning of 86? The slang term "86" (or "86ed") generally means to get rid of, reject, or cancel something or someone. While it originated in the food service industry, it is now used broadly in everyday language.
English

@robbystarbuck @the_druid_dude But it isn’t, because it doesn’t make sense. In fact, it just makes you look dumber.
English

@the_druid_dude I think it’s a funny way to poke fun at the left.
