There was a reference to the resurrection in The Testimonium Flavianum (Antiquities 18.3.3) by the Jewish historian Josephus in 93 AD but that is widely believed to be an interpolation (forgery) by a Christian scribe. Josephus was always anti Christian so if he didn't believe in the Resurrection there is no reason for me to.

Enough with the PR stunts, @MSF. Your "blockade" claims are a deliberate deception. Numerous approved medical organizations have successfully delivered massive amounts of aid this year, but you have flatly refused to meet the mandatory registration requirements, protocols designed to block terrorist infiltration. If humanitarian aid were actually your priority, you would have made the effort to register like everyone else. You have no one to blame but yourselves. We aren’t surprised. MSF continues to prove it is a political organization, not a humanitarian one. Stop the politics and stick to the facts

Yes it’s true. The simple history of the land from the beginning: Thousands of years ago the area was called Canaan, inhabited by the Canaanites. Around 1200 BCE the Philistines (Not Palestinians) arrived on the southern coast (the name "Palestine" comes from them). At the same time, the Israelites (ancient Jews) settled, conquered parts of the land, and established a Jewish kingdom around 1000 BCE. In 135 CE, after a Jewish revolt, the Romans renamed the area Syria Palaestina to erase the Jewish connection. The Arabs conquered the land only in 638 CE about 1,600 years after the Jews were already there. From 638 until 1917 the land was under Muslim rule (Arab, Mamluk, and Ottoman). There was never an independent Arab state called Palestine. In 1920 the British took control and called it Mandatory Palestine, just an old geographical name, not an Arab country. In 1948, after the British left, the Jews accepted the UN partition plan and established Israel. The Arabs rejected it and started the 1948 war. Bottom line: "Palestine" was never an Arab state. It was always a geographical name used by Romans, then by the British.
