My friends, I have an unfortunate update.
I've sustained a heart attack and I'm in a dangerous AFIB. I don't know what's going to happen to me, but I just wanted you all to know that it's been an honor teaching you and helping you along in your path of life. I treasure the many friendships thst have been made here, and I hope that you all continue to love each other and help out, always.
If I succumb to this, all systems sent in will be promptly shipped back. Give me your best vibes on this..
I always called him a living PROPHET because thats what he was to us.
Me and Roc always said when KA rapped it was like he was delivering his words from the top of a mountain off a stone tablet.
The truest man and artist i have ever been lucky enough to cross paths with.
There is so much i want to say.
It was an honor to call you a friend and comrade .
Thanks Roc for connecting us.
KA, you made all of us better.
My condolences to the family.
Rest easy Kaseem Ryan aka BROWNSVILLE KA .
Till we meet again 🕊️
Sunset Riders comes to all supported FPGA devices in this week's beta release.
Special thanks to @furrtek as three chips he has RE'd are present in this core and the information he gathered was vital.
Thanks to @djhardrich too ;-)

@LimitedRunJames The album was pretty huge, no need to limit the release….. Jay-Z’s Black Album Acapella release wasn’t limited either, by doing that a lot of then-unknown producers got to come up from their remixes, eg: Danger Mouse (Grey Album) and there was a bigger cultural impact.
We are happy to announce @retrotink2 is joining the MARS team!
Dr. Mike Chi is an electrical engineer and the founder of CGX, known for designing the most accurate, data-rich, dry EEG headsets in the industry. In retro gaming circles he’s more commonly known as the founder of RetroTINK.
Since launching the RetroTINK-2X in 2018, Mike Chi has revolutionized how we play our classic gaming hardware on modern displays. With the creation of the RetroTINK-5X and the RetroTINK-4K, Mike has created the most feature rich, widely supported, highly acclaimed retro gaming products on the market.
We’ll be working with Mike to bring many features from the RetroTINK-4K to MARS, such as auto-scaling, shadow masks, and scan-line filters. We’re excited to lean on Mike’s wealth of knowledge to make the MARS digital display experience the best it can possibly be.
@elizavetaka Thank you Elizabeta for inviting me to the live event! It was a wonderful evening chatting with you and enjoying wine. I hope to see you the next time you’re in Tokyo, and hopefully, we’ll have time to grab some tea and food!😊
Another year completed with minimal damage taken (this is a lie) I'm celebrating in style with a #digital_graffiti#birthday#asciidelivery to myself tonite alongside listening to TMBG <3
❤️💀🎂have a lovely eve all x 🎂💀❤️
@LimitedRunJames 3.5mm to stereo 1/4” cable and a UAD Volt 2 (currently $169) would be a *nice* way to capture them, there are plenty of other cheaper options though.. Including $30 portable cassette players with tape to usb/sd recording built-in on Amazon/etc
@LimitedRunJames As someone who also dislikes his recorded voice, it’s a) a pretty normal reaction, and b) there are a lot of us that would really get a lot from the insight and nuance that gets lost sometimes when audio is brought to the page… Also cooler than 99% of the podcasts I’ve tried…
So far:
- I have a couple of RGBenches that I'll be listing, and I'll even throw in a free printed case
- I found a few more SNES/PDIF boards
- I Added a couple more colors to the SNES-Lite
- I have 1 remaining OSSC barebones kit
- I have a handful of SGB link port kits
I hate airing my dirty laundry on social media, but I'm in a pretty rough spot financially. I've been pouring a lot of money into building up my electronics business, increasing my manufacturing capabilities, and developing new products, but I've hit a wall.
@SkratchBastid Not going to put anyone specific on blast on twitter… I know you’re busy but I can give you the 5-min breakdown whenever you have time; DM’ing my number.
Wasn’t only business, there was a lot on the artistic side that’s just gone because I didn’t push for credit.
@djhardrich Hey Rich, I'm sorry to hear that. Nasty shit happens in all of the scenes. Speaking mostly on the artistic side, business is a tougher one. Do you want to share an experience or something creative here?
People bite styles & ideas but what I've learned is if you just keep sharing ideas & pushing forward creatively your body of work will speak for itself & people will have receipts from everything you've done & the credit & flowers will come. Don't get caught up in asking for it.
