It was a tremendous honor to be approached by my good friends, @MarkwayneMullin and @GovStitt , about filling the vacancy in Oklahoma’s U.S. Senate seat on the day the news broke of President Trump’s cabinet decision. This was not something I expected to unfold in 2026. While serving our state in the U.S. Senate would be a tremendous honor, after thoughtful consideration—and some time away with my family over Spring Break—I have decided this is not the right time for me to step away from Hilliary Communications or to be away from my children while traveling back and forth to Washington, D.C. I’m deeply grateful for the confidence Markwayne placed in me by recommending me for this seat, and I’m honored by Governor Stitt’s continued confidence in appointing me to the Board of Regents for the @UofOklahoma . In this role, I’ll be able to stay rooted here at home while still helping shape the future of our state. I'm pushing for a 90-hour bachelor's degree pathway to cut costs and get students into good jobs faster and for tenure reforms that tie accountability to performance at public institutions. Reviewing incumbent OKRINOs campaign finances has truly been fascinating. Who knew both OK Senators Seifried ($15,946) and Green ($5,562) received “in-kind” donations that show it was for canvassing? Btw, #OKGrassroots political animals door knock for our candidates for free. 🇺🇸

99% of my support goes to Republicans — folks fighting for the same core conservative values you and I share. That’s how we make Oklahoma stronger and better for the next generation. Under federal law (2 U.S.C. §1970), I was prohibited from calling them in without specific approval. That same day, Carol Corbin at the Pentagon offered National Guard support, but I was forced to decline because I lacked the legal authority. On January 6, while the Capitol was under attack and despite my repeated calls, your Sergeant at Arms again denied my urgent requests for over 70 agonizing minutes, “running it up the chain” for your approval. When I needed assistance, it was denied.
