What made the reimagined Royals so special? Suede is usually the fabric of comfort. Suede be it faux or genuine leather is widely recognized for its exceptionally soft, velvety texture, making it a material associated with a luxurious and comfortable feel when worn. Mix that with royal blue and it’s supposed to be a home run. What made these such a left field decision was the fully engulfing of suede and nubuck. That may have turned people off. To me it made them just that more special. Take it from me, just 5-6 years these would have been a pass to me. I held my stance in nubuck and suedes on Jordan 1s for almost 20 years before I made the switch ( 2018s Wheats did it for me). The Royal reimagined was that it would be made directly for the Goat, court side, in my mind. Pregame pair to wear before lacing up the team colors. Well it is his favorite color. 🙂 The focus is love!
