In BC, all regular license plates for passenger cars (not trucks) are 3 letters and 3 numbers. I always note when there's a plate that's a valid poker hand (only AKQJT and 1-9). I see one every 2-3 days. I just saw AA8 8A6. The second nuts! I might not ever see a better one!

Update: just spoke to a @CityOfNorthVan employee inspecting the signs and asked why they chose the middle of 6th street as the divider. He said the line had to be drawn somewhere. I suggested between blocks and he said “I never thought about that. I see what you’re saying” 🤦🏻‍♂️

@CityOfNorthVan put up new #parking regulations on my street today with no notice. I applied for a permit and it will take 1-2 weeks for approval. They’ve used the middle of 6th (my street) as permit zone divide, so we need a diff resident permit for N & S side of the street WTH

How does using the middle of a street as the divider make any sense? Every other street can park on both sides. I have no problem with the parking restrictions as parking for residents has become bad. Would have liked some notice, and a permit that makes sense for both sides

@TheRyanFeldman Insane. They used to be my go to service, and could have had a monopoly on the market. But their ridiculous fees and terrible service have pushed me to TickPick now and I’ve had great experiences with them.

PSA: Don’t ever use StubHub Worst customer service, most corrupt company ever A few weeks ago, I bought 4 courtside tickets for Lakers/Warriors preseason for $5,800. Seemed like a great deal. The next day, I got an email that I changed the email on my account. I immediately called StubHub to tell them my account was hacked. A couple days later, I get an email with the tickets but it says if I click accept ticket they’ll go into my account, which isn’t my account because it listed a different name and email on there. I called StubHub, told them it’s urgent, they said they’ll try to resolve. I continued calling every day until game day, no resolution, nothing. I sent them all the documents, my bank transaction, the original email from them, even an email where I emailed the hacker and he acknowledged that he hacked me. I’ve called many times since then, they keep saying I’ll hear back, I never did. I finally get a call back today, they tell me they found suspicious activity on my account so they can’t refund me. Never using StubHub again. I spent hours and hours calling them and talking to them and trying to escalate the situation. Nobody there is actually helpful at all. Just robots. Obviously my account is suspicious because it was hacked and the tickets were stolen! Btw, I strongly believe there were no tickets to begin with. It’s some sort of scam where someone lists tickets for way less than the market price. In this case, less than $1500 for courtside. They then somehow know how to hack your account once they know your email address that gets sent to the seller. Then the seat numbers and order # gets changed via a new email. Be careful if you ever see tickets listed on there that are suspiciously low priced. Or just never use StubHub cuz it’s a scam site that supports criminal activity.
