@adityaag It’s not just fear of losing identity. It’s the pressure to move faster, adopt tools immediately, and deliver 3–4x output with little time to upskill and unclear success metrics. And I can’t believe we’re back to lines of code as an industry instead of outcomes and impact.

Don't be sad. Dominate. Something I wrote earlier this week went viral and got shared pretty widely. x.com/adityaag/statu… There is no doubt that I felt nostalgic and sad after seeing the sheer power of Claude Code. But I have produced more code in the last 5 days than I have in the last 5 years. If you are an software engineer, you have a choice between learning how to use these tools that can give you god-like powers or you can become obsolete. I strongly believe every engineer who has ever written code is capable of the former. But the choice is yours and yours alone.
Aditya Agarwal@adityaag

It's a weird time. I am filled with wonder and also a profound sadness. I spent a lot of time over the weekend writing code with Claude. And it was very clear that we will never ever write code by hand again. It doesn't make any sense to do so. Something I was very good at is now free and abundant. I am happy...but disoriented. At the same time, something I spent my early career building (social networks) was being created by lobster-agents. It's all a bit silly...but if you zoom out, it's kind of indistinguishable from humans on the larger internet. So both the form and function of my early career are now produced by AI. I am happy but also sad and confused. If anything, this whole period is showing me what it is like to be human again.

The Kennedy Center was named after my uncle, President John F Kennedy. It was named in his honor. He was a man who was interested in the arts, interested in culture, interested in education, language, history. He brought the arts into the White House, and he and my Aunt Jackie amplified the arts, celebrated the arts, stood up for the arts and artists. It is beyond comprehension that this sitting president has sought to rename this great memorial dedicated to President Kennedy. It is beyond wild that he would think adding his name in front of President Kennedy’s name is acceptable. It is not. Next thing perhaps he will want to rename JFK Airport, rename the Lincoln Memorial, the Trump Lincoln Memorial. The Trump Jefferson Memorial. The Trump Smithsonian. The list goes on. Can we not see what is happening here? C’mon, my fellow Americans! Wake up! This is not dignified. This is not funny. This is way beneath the stature of the job. It’s downright weird. It’s obsessive in a weird way. Just when you think somone can’t stoop any lower, down they go…

@BrianPrescott48 “Big Pharma suppressed Berberine” claim is pure pseudoscience. No evidence of suppression, no RCTs showing Ozempic-level effects, and most “benefits” are tiny or unproven. It’s a supplement with marketing hype dressed up as ancient wisdom.

Big Pharma profits billions from drugs like Ozempic & Metformin, medications with devastating side effects. But they suppressed a natural compound that's been optimizing male metabolism & burning fat for 3,500 years. It's called Berberine. Here's how it helps men: 1. Pharma companies chased massive patents, while ancient healers used this golden plant alkaloid to stabilize blood sugar, elevate energy levels, and maintain lean muscle---no prescriptions, no insurance headaches, just time-tested effectiveness. 2. What is Berberine? A potent yellow alkaloid from barberry, goldenseal, and tree turmeric. Traditional practitioners named it the "golden healer." Today's scientists call it "nature's Metformin"---but with advantages that extend far beyond glucose control. 3. Here's the mechanism pharmaceutical companies despise: Berberine activates AMPK, the same cellular pathway their costly medications target, switching your metabolic state from "store fat" to "burn fat." Your body begins working with you, not fighting you. 4. Blood sugar management that transforms men's health: - Reduces fasting glucose levels - Decreases HbA1c markers - Enhances insulin sensitivity (preserve muscle & eliminate belly fat) - Clinical comparisons demonstrate results like Metformin, but without the gastrointestinal hell If you want a top-tier Berberine formula, this is what I recommend. Enhanced with Ceylon Cinnamon + absorption boosters, third-party tested, 1200mg potency: amazon.com/dp/B0DJC3YYX9?… 5. Testosterone and hormonal optimization: regulated blood sugar = regulated hormones. When glucose levels spike and crash, it decimates testosterone production and elevates estrogen conversion. Berberine maintains that crucial balance---supporting the hormonal foundation required to build muscle and torch fat. 6. Mental clarity and cognitive edge: Berberine crosses the blood-brain barrier and supports neuroprotection. Men consistently report improved focus, sharper decision-making, and sustained mental energy throughout the day. Stable glucose = stable brain performance. 7. Gut health equals metabolic health: Berberine acts as a prebiotic, rebalancing your gut microbiome by promoting beneficial bacteria and eliminating harmful strains. A healthier gut means better nutrient absorption, stronger immunity, and more efficient fat metabolism. It's a complete metabolic reset. 8. Inflammation is sabotaging your results: persistent inflammation wrecks metabolic function, triggers fat storage (particularly visceral abdominal fat), and speeds up aging. Berberine functions as a powerful anti-inflammatory, reducing systemic inflammation so your body can efficiently burn fat. 9. Fat loss that targets the danger zone: Beyond blood sugar management, Berberine reprograms how your body stores and burns fat. Research shows men lose an average of 5+ lbs over 12 weeks—but more critically, it targets visceral fat (the dangerous fat around your organs). You're not just losing weight, you're reducing disease risk. 10. Strategic usage protocol: Start with 600mg before meals, 2-3 times daily. Always take with food to minimize digestive adjustment. Consider cycling (8-12 weeks on, 2-4 weeks off) to maintain long-term effectiveness. If you're on diabetes medication, consult your doctor before combining. 11. Side effects? Practically none: Unlike GLP-1 drugs with their brutal nausea, vomiting, and muscle wasting, Berberine's main "side effect" is temporary mild digestive adjustment during the first week. It works with your biology, not against it. No muscle loss, no "Ozempic face," no dependency. Here’s the same premium Berberine formula that I personally recommend: amazon.com/dp/B0DJC3YYX9?… Transparency: This post contains affiliate links; I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This is educational content only---not medical advice. Consult your doctor before changing your routine. Bottom line: You may not need $1,000/month injections or patented medications with brutal side effects. A 3,500-year-old answer has been available all along, they just concealed it because they can't patent it and monopolize the profits. If this resonates, share it. Your health isn't a profit center for drug companies. Follow @BrianPrescott48 for more straightforward health optimization tactics. Repost so more men discover this.

I asked some British friends visiting SF what surprised them about it. The drug problem is much less serious than they expected. Public transit works well. The streets are surprisingly empty. Great racial diversity. Every 4th car is a Tesla. Food is very expensive.
