Senate Republicans made permanent the 20% small business deduction, increasing confidence for over 25 million small businesses. With this added deduction, small businesses are expected to generate 1.2 million jobs annually and boost small business GDP by $750 billion over the next decade.

Yesterday, the Minnesota Senate passed the most comprehensive gun violence prevention package in state history. I was proud to work alongside @ZaynabMMohamed to get it done. It included an assault weapons sales ban and high capacity magazine limits. I carried provisions to ban binary triggers, ban untraceable 3D-printed firearms, and strengthen and expand awareness of Minnesota’s red flag law. Now it goes to the House. Let's get it done!
