Great visit to TH stadium yesterday (not the surrounding area!) Great team performance everyone minimum of 7/10 and I actually thought the Spurs fans created a great atmosphere so made it an even better win as we had to show a lot of character! Onto Porto 🇵🇹 #NFFC

One thing that was VERY noticeable walking out of the ground afterwards, on the way to the station, in the queue for the train etc, was that there was NO anger, no effing & jeffing from Spurs fans. Just silence. A resigned, defeated silence. It was beautifully deafening. #NFFC

Hutchinson’s last action is to win a free kick for #NFFC. He’s been alright today, not much going on for him in an attacking sense but has worked hard off the ball despite Spurs’ successes down that flank. Ndoye replaces him in a straight swap.

@danscapephoto anything can happen! I have a weird feeling Leeds get drawn into it and may even go down due to their recent history of relegation battles and collapses towards the end of seasons. As the fans get nervous and edgy, this could spill onto the pitch but maybe wishful thinking 😂

@dlycett If you’re asking me right now, I think Leeds will be out of it by then looking at their fixtures. It could still be 3 teams fighting, but still enough games for another team to pull away by a couple of results

How often does the relegation battle go down to the final day? #nffc 4/10 seasons over last 10 years 7/10 seasons the middle 10 years 8/10 seasons the first 10 years of the 20 team Premier League Overall 63% of seasons come down to the final day (on points at least, probably a bit less with GD reality). It is becoming less common though. Only 37% of seasons have more than two teams at risk on the final day. There’s never been a gap of more than two seasons without it coming down to the final day. So we are due one this season 😦
