#LFC 🔴 🚨 Liverpool would want to replace Curtis Jones and Alexis Mac Allister should both move on this summer. Adam Wharton and Alex Scott are being looked at.

@JoshLFC1909 Ffs if Wharton was at lfc and Jones was at Palace, everyone would be in for Jones to lfc.

I think bringing in Wharton is a 1/2 part midfield. We need another more physical presence alongside him. My thoughts are Wharton-Szoboszlai, but would expect them to look into the market.

@mikegarson In my top 5 of all albums. My dad bought it when it was released. I’ve been listening to this masterpiece for over 50 years. It’s one of those very rare records that hits hard every time I put it on. I still owe that copy, it gets played constantly. Just pure musical magic.

Aladdin Sane was released 53 years ago today, and it still feels like yesterday. I didn’t fully understand what David had in mind when I walked into that session in 1973. He had this ability to hear something in you and place it exactly where it belonged. When we were recording the title track, I first approached it in more conventional styles. David stopped me and asked for the avant-garde side of my playing, the part that didn’t fit the standard rock piano vocabulary. I wasn’t sure how people would take it. He told me not to worry about that. He gave me the freedom to play. That was one of his great gifts. He let artists bring their full voice into the music without constraint, and somehow made it feel inevitable. So when people talk about that solo, I don’t just hear a piano part. I hear David recognizing something before anyone else did, and giving it the space to exist. For me, Aladdin Sane is one of the clearest examples of Bowie as an artist, a producer, and a truly fearless creative mind. I’d love to hear what this album means to you after all these years. Favorite tracks, memories, or moments that still stay with you... Photo by Brian Duffy

10 April 2015. Richie Benaud died (aged 84). After retiring from playing cricket for Australia in 1964, he became a leading TV cricket commentator, working for the BBC and Channel 4. In Australia, he commentated for the 9 Network.

I think that summer Cherki v Wirtz argument can be put to bed. Quarter of of the price, on the showing of this season twice the player. I do believe Wirtz will bang next season but on this season, these are facts. #LFc

I’ve said this. None. There isn’t a player or coach I’d be arsed losing this summer and I’ve never felt this way. There is always a link to someone. I don’t recognise this team or its style. #LFC

I struggle to see how Liverpool continue with this manager beyond the season. The belief’s gone, the willpower, the intensity… nearly everything good Klopp instilled in this side has been undone in the space of a year. You can forgive bad results - but not this dire mentality.
