@MVPGiancarlo_ I wouldn’t trade McMahon for Devers straight up. Devers is the worst defensive 3B in baseball, his bat speed and hard-hit metrics are tanking and getting worse every year, and he’s still owed something like $225M. This has to be rage-bait.

Devers pros: Ex Red Sox player. Hates the Red Sox. Wants revenge on the Red Sox. 3rd basemen. (Yankees need) Lefty masher (short porch) Devers cons: Drops balls on occasion Seems like pros outweigh the cons to me. Perfect fit in NY.

@YourFriendKyle_ FIP only takes into account HR, BB + HBP, and Ks. They’re all multiplied by a constant, and Ks are subtracted from HR, BB, and HBP. Because Miller is striking out a significantly higher number of batter than he’s allowing HR, BB, or HBP, his FIP is negative.
