I stand by my take.
Harp has never hit more than 35 HRs a season as a Phillie. So he'd have to hit 25 more to reach it, plus 3. My (subjective) feeling is he gets those in bunches. He's hitting a higher percentage of homers to start the season versus his career and that will probably normalize.
What would be awesome if both are sitting at 399 with a few games left in the season.
I was at Jim Thome 400 game where he hit his, and then Pat Burrell followed right after with a HR. Can you imagine the Bank with both of those guys sitting at 399?
