@maxkarpis Already up in my account (Portugal, Testflight Beta versions).
They have my nationality garbled up for a couple of months though, even after many support tickets. They keep saying that everything is ok but "Philippines" keep showing up everywhere.

NEWS: Revolut is about to launch Revolut ID - your identity control centre accessible through the Revolut app.
You will be able to use it when you need to fill out forms, check in for flights or hotels, complete online verifications, or need your ID details anywhere.
Identity details will not be stored on the device, but will be called from Revolut servers with an extra security layer.
Launching in the EU/EEA soon, probably in Spain first.

This is a bit serious. I really need your feedback.
Long story short, I think Ethernet is a relic of the past and should be confined to walls and floors. Modern laptops and many devices are moving away from it in favor of Wi-Fi, which isn’t always convenient and ends up requiring adapters and dongles on desks.
So I thought, what if we made a router with USB ports that essentially act as USB-to-Ethernet adapters inside the router?
In my personal experience, this would be super cool for certain use cases. For example, at a conference booth, WiFi or Ethernet could be used as an uplink to the router. And the router could have a VPN set up to the company network. For a HomeLab, this is a pretty neat setup as a demo stand. And it would work just fine as a travel router, too.
Would you like to see a device like this come to life? This could very well be the first hardware product from developers, made for developers. I mean, from JetBrains.
On the technical side, I have some rough ideas for features and unique capabilities. For example, automatic detection of the WAN port regardless of where you plug in the network (the device has 2 Ethernet ports). I’d be happy to dive into the details in the near future.
I’d appreciate it if you shared this post - if only because it adds a bit of variety to your feed, which I’m sure is full of AI content and news about AI, offering something tangible and practical.

We found that Wi-Fi client isolation can often be bypassed. This allows an attacker who can connect to a network, either as a malicious insider or by connecting to a co-located open network, to attack others.

Está difícil o @Revolut passar-me para a sucursal Portuguesa

@MarcoAlmeidaPT @Revolut A mesma coisa aqui.

Perhaps they could launch a diagram app and call it… Zoom?

I'm trying to figure out where to live next, and one big consideration is the climate. So naturally I made a tool that represents monthly average temperatures for cities as 3D rings so they can be compared more easily. Check it out: awjuliani.github.io/weather-explor…

Great news for the startup and scaleup ecosystem in Europe.
Instead of having to choose from 27 different national company, labour, insolvency and tax rules entrepreneurs will be able to choose one common European rulebook called the 28th regime.
Still unclear when it comes to the exact legal form, how deep the tax integration goes and whether this will really simply things for businesses and not just add an additional 28th layer on top of the existing 27, but if done correctly this will be huge in terms of keeping European talent in Europe and make them more competitive vs American and Chinese businesses.

Ursula von der Leyen just *officially* announced at Davos: The 28th regime will be called EU–INC! WE WON.
