Rí-Rá Irish Lager was created with the mission to bring people le chéile (together) more often, to celebrate contemporary Irish culture, and to celebrate the Irish language, whatever their ability. Joining together with Madden's, Rí-Rá will support local initiatives that nurture the traditional Irish music scene and the facilitation of Irish language classes across the city, by donating 50p per pint of Rí-Rá Irish Lager purchased in Madden's. #sp

If you’ve coached, this will feel uncomfortably familiar. ➠ You arrive early to be organised and still start late. ➠ The session plan makes sense at home and falls apart on the grass. ➠ The bibs are there but none of them match. ➠ Someone asks if they can go in goal five seconds after you said no goalkeepers. ➠ You set up one activity and it immediately becomes a different one. ➠ The wind carries your voice everywhere except to the players you’re talking to. ➠ A ball disappears over a fence and never returns. ➠ You stop a behaviour issue and forget what you were coaching. ➠ The activity works perfectly for two players and nobody else. ➠ You realise halfway through that the space is far too big. ➠ You shrink it. Then shrink it again. ➠ Someone scores and celebrates the wrong goal. ➠ A quiet player does something brilliant and nobody notices but you. ➠ The loudest player explains your own rules back to you incorrectly. ➠ You abandon the progression you were excited about. ➠ You keep the one that actually works. ➠ The session ends better than it started, somehow. ➠ You replay one small moment in your head all the way home. ➠ That moment is why you’ll plan again tomorrow. This distortion is not only absurd - it is a transparent effort to derail the real conversation. All two million Palestinian people in Gaza are currently being starved to death by Israel. At least 20,000 children in Gaza have been killed. The British government continues to supply arms to Israel, even after scores of NHS doctors warned Keir Starmer in August that children were being systematically executed with sniper shots to the head. Instead of defending innocent people or the principles of international law, the powerful in Britain have abetted slaughter and famine. This is where real anger and outrage should be directed towards. To the Amess and Cox families, we send our heartfelt apologies, we never intended to cause you hurt. Kneecap’s message has always been — and remains — one of love, inclusion, and hope. This is why our music resonates across generations, countries, classes and cultures and has brought hundreds of thousands of people to our gigs. No smear campaign will change that. Suddenly, days after calling out the US administration at Coachella to applause and solidarity, there is an avalanche of outrage and condemnation by the political classes of Britain. The real crimes are not in our performances; the real crimes are the silence and complicity of those in power. Shame on them.
