💔A family in Kariobangi South is desperately searching for their two young children who went missing on Wednesday at around 5:00pm. The boy is 4 years old, while the girl is only 2. They were last seen holding hands near Kwa Chief in Kariobangi South. Their loved ones are pleading with anyone around Kwa Chief, Civo, Buruburu, 56 or nearby areas who may have seen them to report to the nearest police station or contact the family immediately via 0711569605 / 0742829805. Every share could help bring these little ones back home safely. Please keep an eye out, share widely, and keep the family in your prayers. 🙏 Photo: Verah Owiti (Original) @4Real_KE @JoshOO1J @Osama_otero @HonMosiria @AokoOtieno_ kindly RT

5 Things that most people ignore about SACCOs 1. Share capital is non-redeemable but transferable 2. Savings in your BOSA account are non withdrawable. Only accessible when leaving the SACCO. 3. To save is to deposit money, to access your money you have to take a loan 4. If you are not in a SACCO to access cheap/friendly loans, SACCOs may never make sense to you 5. There are two types of accounts. a) Front Office Savings Account(FOSA) - Similar to a normal bank account. Savings earn no interest b) Back Office Savings Account (BOSA) - Savings earn interest called rebates. used to evaluate your loan amount eligibility.

I am tired of trying to be loved by Kenyans on social media. I think we have been programmed to hate each other and keep the old corrupt system in power. What we are doing here is not politics this is activism. It cannot win an election. We cannot be in this business of pulling down every young leader that tries to come up and not apply the same standards on the old corrupt leaders. We allow the legacy politicians to meet and plan together inspite of them being from different political parties but we don’t want to extend the same grace to young leaders who want to overthrow this system. Where will leaders come from if we keep canceling and deplatforming our own for very flimsy reasons while allowing corrupt thieves and murderers to continue enjoying the airwaves. You call someone a conman and everyone adopts it without producing evidence to show what was conned. But you allow someone who has stolen 6 trillion to be cheered in church and to tell GenZs to arise and shine. You call someone a beggar yet you understand that politics is expensive and until we break the ice of campaign financing no single youth can make it. You call someone a project or a traitor without evidence to show when they were paid, how much they were paid and who paid them. Are we going to keep fighting and tearing each other on the basis of lies? Was this movement designed to self-destruct? I believe there are millions of youth out there who are looking for an option. They don’t want to choose between a corrupt government and a crooked opposition. They are looking up to leaders like me and you. It doesn’t matter which political party you are in right now. You could even be working in statehouse. But if you have sensed the moment and you want to be part of the alternative, do not be afraid. Join us this week as we meet more young leaders who want to form a political movement for change. Let us reason together. Ignore the hate comments on social media. Most of them are coming from people who are depressed and frustrated. Some have lost their businesses due to harsh economic conditions. Others have lost their jobs. Others are living on a salary that cannot sustain a stomach and a roof. We need to understand this situation and rise above it.

Carrefour Employees Outsourced by Nairobi HR Consultancy Firm Express Frustration Over Unpaid Salaries and Poor Working Conditions Employees outsourced by YP People, a Nairobi-based human resources consulting firm specializing in recruitment and HR outsourcing, are expressing growing frustration over unfair working conditions at Carrefour stores. Workers linked to the firm have reported multiple issues, including delayed salaries, lack of paid sick leave, and absence of basic worker benefits. Reports from several workers indicate that their February salaries, due by the end of the month, have still not been paid. This recurring delay has left many employees financially strained, as they rely on their earnings to meet basic living expenses. Workers have also expressed concerns over a lack of sick leave, with many stating that they are not compensated for days missed due to illness. This has further aggravated their challenges, especially for those with health issues. While the issues faced by workers outsourced by YP People at Carrefour stores are troubling, they are far from isolated. Many workers employed through agencies linked to businesses like supermarkets and retail outlets across Nairobi have voiced similar grievances about delayed salaries, lack of basic benefits and poor working conditions. The pattern of financial instability and exploitation is troublingly consistent, with numerous workers across different companies reporting the same issues month after month. This widespread problem calls into question the adequacy of existing labour regulations and the willingness of these agencies and their business partners to adhere to fair employment practices. "Good afternoon Nyakundi. I am working with YP People, the company contracted by Carrefour Kenya to outsource staff, specifically trolley boys. The conditions here are very unfair. Today is the 7th of March, and some of us have still not been paid for our February salaries. This happens every month. Our pay is always delayed. If you get sick, you’re not paid for the days missed, and even on your off days, there’s no pay. This is really frustrating. YP People’s offices are located at Mitsumi Business Park in Westlands. Please help us, as we can no longer endure this situation. They are not even offering sick leave."
